I had the messenger event come and morale boost my soldiers, that worked. Then I encounter bandits and when I tried to attack, the game crashed, something about "Failing to create active bandit party" probably because ROT takes some vanilla bandits out of the game or replaces them.
You could probably configure and take certain events out to get it partially working. But yea not compatible with ROT mod with default settings.
Oh, target practice? Sike! Unavoidable battle with 50 bandits!! Goodbye past hour of progress!!
1) Press Alt + Enter when playing the game to toggle full screen mode
2) In the game settings, try switching to windowed mode, apply the changes, and then going back to fullscreen (or windowed borderless)
Good luck!
2. This mod is pretty good! I feel it makes the world a bit more immersive when going back and forth across the map, even if certain events (the wedding ones) are a bit too common.
3. What the fuck was up with the alien abduction event, or whatever that's implied to be?
One perfect exeample is the robbed merchant (?) where i let him go. WOuldnt mind either some +20 generosity of mercy.
The mod should update automatically through steam. But if you're still experiencing high deaths, try unsubbing and resubbing to the mod it should do a fresh install grabbing the latest settings. Doing that wont effect your save.
Cheers!
Thanks again for the mod! Looking forward to more cool random events
Maybe the storm one could be like before the storm hits, one of the options is to have your men build fortifications to stay safe - taking time and stopping your movement for a few hrs.
Alternatively, you can pay to ride out the storm in a local village.
