why are all the nord units babies

do you guys think they will add new armor and weapons for the nord faction? im so excited to see what come with the upcoming dlc cheers all! skal!

As usual the Nord faction from TW needs to be made more Nord.

Hello everyone! Following the announcement of the Nord DLC coming this summer, the original purpose of this mod has finally become obsolete. I will most likely rework this mod to focus on the actual upcoming Nord faction instead of Sturgia, improving stuff as I see fit wherever suitable.

Sturgia is a faction based off of Kievan Rus. You can tell by their equipment. Plus if you play warband you can see the maps and the Nords arent the same. In the full map the nords are from farther up north. Not on bannerlord map

this mod might not be needed anymore we might be getting a nord dlc

I would change the height of the Nords and Asserai. In the original version, the Asserai are tall and the Nords are short. This is wrong.

Tested and working fine with v1.2.9, thanks @RedBeard for the RBM workaround.

@ReFleXzZ Unfortunately, it is not compatible with RBM. The units added by this mod are overhauled by RBM. Names etc. are still Nordic for characters. However, you can turn off the troop overhaul in RBM which should make this mod compatible again.

should'nt the vassals be called "Earls" instead of "Jarls"? for Norse immersion?

these guys need a balance, they steam roll odds 2:1 or worse. yeah I know this is a viking simp mod but give them a Nerf, its not exactly fun knowing your entire army is unable to be killed...

does this mod work with rbm if i disable troop overhaul from the combat module? cuz i assume that only the troop overhaul will affect it

are the spear units able to brace against cavalry?

I am having an issue with my troops spawning without weapons, or no shield but 2 spears. I have tried removing mods and starting a new game, but no luck.

its such a great mod but there is a problem, we cant find the new troops(like huskarls eg.) if you made a guide for it it would definetly awesome

Sure thing. If you check out the discussion pages of this mod you'll find an old Norse word list where you can find troop translations into modern English. There's also an alternative version of this mod on the Nexus with intelligible troop names if you prefer that.
If you're simply looking to compare the new troop names with the vanilla troop names, I'd simply recommend to just google search 'Bannerlord Sturgian troop tree' and look on the image results.

Since i am not 100% familliar with the real troop names/looks. I found it hard to find the troops i am looking for. As an example, i am doing specific troop type in garrison, then in my main army, tho i now dont know which is the right troop im looking for lol. Is there a way to maybe get a "translation" of the "new troops" so i can see what their old names were?:):):)

Yes it is compatible with RBM. It's not balanced for it though.
