"Earls" are the anglosaxon form of "Jarls"

Sure thing. If you check out the discussion pages of this mod you'll find an old Norse word list where you can find troop translations into modern English. There's also an alternative version of this mod on the Nexus with intelligible troop names if you prefer that.
If you're simply looking to compare the new troop names with the vanilla troop names, I'd simply recommend to just google search 'Bannerlord Sturgian troop tree' and look on the image results.
Yes it is compatible with RBM. It's not balanced for it though.
