I've paused updating this for a while more for the lack of personal interest. Updates probably won't come unless i want to begin updating again.
As for repair vehicles, you can spawn them in the virtual garage. Each vanilla faction has their own dedicated repair truck.
When i get back into Modding Arma 3, i will learn how to port it and make a tutorial.
I'm yet to find out how to port this to difrent maps. Their should be a tutorial for it however somewhere in the origional mod page
When you are in the roll selection screen, on the top right is a button named "Perameters".
Just click on that and set up the mission to your liking.
You'll find it in the Perameters when playing the mission
They shouldn't be spawning outside the map as far as i know. To clerify, do you mean in the ocean?
unfortinutely this wouldn't work well with singleplayer unless i implement some kind of SP Death system, but their is no real need to do that.
My main focus is adding more factions, and fixing the broken revive system (allthough Reddit and Discord is yet to help)
You can configure them in the Perameters on the class selection screen
Refer to the Evannex Altis, it should have documentation on how to port them.
Allright, i uploaded the pbo file in the github, hope it works.
Github is picky with .PBO files, though i'll see if i can upload it.
Aegis however didnt work, likely because Aegis is a Overhaul to vanilla factions, adding in a few factions, but also editing pre-existing factions. this likely causes the scripts to have issues loading, but i can't say for sure.
My testing process is simple, test the mission with the mod enabled, and make sure the factions spawn, then do the same thing without mods and vanilla factions. When i tested this with Aegis, i was given a Error message that makes it so you cannot run the mission, due to the mod missing.
Mods like Aegis can't be put into here though. for some reason when i tested it without any mods, it gave a error saying i was missing content from Aegis, so i presume its the same with CDLC.
I'd love to add id to this, however because it is a CDLC i can't.
Essentially if a mission is creaded with any CDLC (excluding Contact), then it will be a requirement to play the mission.
Thanks, i'm just hoping somebody comes along and revamps the mission, all i'm doing is just trying to put the mods people like in this one.
Thanks, i played it constantly ever since it came out, i'm just trying to keep its legacy untill a remake comes out
Lmao yeah, i love evannex and sucks to see the developer stop updating since 2019.
I'm just trying to keep its legacy untill somebody comes around and makes a new version.
I made a video tutorial on how to add custom factions, its not hard, but it eats time.
No worries, just glad people are still interested in Evannex
I gone ahead and added it as a required mod, to play it you need either the Sahara desert DLC or its compatability patch found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2636962953
I'll split the Aegis mods into its own Evannex, and avoid mods that need DLC to work excluding base DLC's
