I like the idea here, as you explained it, with "hunts" because it might promote longer campaign gameplay to complete your Skin Wolf Lord.

If this leads to the Packlord outstrapping Rafford, I may look into applying these features to him as well, with RAF's permission of course.
Will be interesting to see what reworked skill trees, added Path to Glory and horde camps might bring. Just be careful to not make the lord all too powerful (initial impression is that it's quite balanced as it is now).
A modified skill tree affecting skin wolves is always welcome to give it more flavour, but there's a risk that the Packlord quickly will become more powerful than Rafford (Tribe of the Wolf LL) if given boons of chaos (depending on which boons you happen to get of course).
