On release it very technically worked for campaign, but emphasis on "technically". It was mostly jam project and while not 100% completely abandoned I also am not sure if/when it realistically will be finished.
Eventually I will probably re-approach it. Something like this is so big that it's also really hard to do alone, it requires a lot of scripting, modeling, db work, everything. So, idk, part of this coming back to life also sorta depends on there being enough people willing to bring it back.
I've been keeping myself busy with other projecsts, and modding is a lot of work with no pay. I know Ulrik and Nanu both keep pretty busy with other cool projects, as well.
tl;dr EVENTUALLY it will come back, but right now no active plans.
Secondly, to answer your question. How hard would it be? Yes.
Third, this mod already has a lot of stuff that really isn't fully implemented but technically exists within the mod that I'd want to get fixed, and I have way more things that are way higher on the list. It will get finished eventually, but when "eventually" is can be pretty hard to say at this point.
Glad you like the mod, but I'll be real this is a very very very rough cut of what the vision for the mod is. This is a WIP that got rushed out to meet a deadline because it was for a mod jam. Eventually I will have both the time AND energy to make it cooler, but for now it is what it is.
Right now, it is ***playable*** in campaign, but it's still really wonky. It works much better in custom battles. We are working on making it a fully functional campaign faction, but that kinda stuf takes time.
"also might wanna add a disclaimer that say that other modded units intended for normal lizard man arent compatible" What do you mean by that? Naturally normal lizardmen units won't be added to a chaos faction.
sorry for my bad english and reading how much you and you friend/s put into it i will give it a try and here award as reward for this good looking mod :)
This was part of the Mod Jam 5 that had a deadline ~when this mod got uploaded. There is still some polish to do before this is fully playable as you'd expect from a normal mod uploaded to the workshop. Give it a day or two before commenting on stuff that doesn't work.
