Does this work for 1.2.12? if not could you make a version that does? I recently updated my bannerlord to play the new 1700s mod but I truly adore this mod and want it to work along with it. :)

Okay guys I got it to work.
You have to put it right under native module. Put Harmony 1st on the list, Butterlib 2nd, and MCM 3rd, native 4th, UnlimitedCAP 5th. If native needs to be under other modules for those specific modules to work then that should be fine and it should work.

Everyone, stop being rude, the mod works, you have to activate it in the mod menu in the game, make sure you follow the install instructions. Thanks for creating the mod dude.

This shit is so ass! I can't unsubscribe this shitty broken mod, because it crashes the game on start. IT IS REQUIRED TO SUBSCRIBE ON THIS MOD TO PLAY THE GAME.

If the NexusMods version works and this one doesn't, make sure you have the right module requirements installed, such as MCM or Harmony.

Hey! I will push an update after the following weekend, starting from Monday.

I'm using many mods, tho (I believe) none of them really touches the companion limit, except for hero enhancement and maybe another one, yet even when putting UnlimitedCAP all the way down the list and thus the highest prio, it seems like the game completely ignores it and I'm still met with the companion limit, and I have no clues why :shrug:

I'm stuck in a weird position now where said companion limit is killing a random companion that's in my party every single day ("[companion name] was lost"), even when trying to boost my companion limit in any mods that allow me to do it and even if they're loaded last (hero enhancement provides extra companion slots on cunning lvl up)
Any idea what could possibly override the companion limit and force the (seemingly) default limit on me even when mods like UnlimitedCAP are loaded last?

this does still work in the game go to the mod settings find the mod and manually move the sliders to the cap you want and then load up your game this still works on the newest version btw

I forgot to mention that companion limit doesn't affect the war stats! From all my mods, this is the single thing that seems to be affecting WAR stats just by increasing the limit but not actually having the parties.

IMPORTANT - For people that said factions go at war with them.

After some data mining, I've found out that the game system calculates your war stats using your companion parties limit too.

Basically if you open the game and set your companion party limit to 200 and activate the cheat, this will be calculated in the game war stats!!

Here is the code that decides that:

num2 += (float)partyLimitForTier * 80f * ((clan.Leader == clan.MapFaction.Leader) ? 1.25f : 1f);

This means you must use your party limit modifier accordingly if you don't want this to be the issue of having a war with every kingdom on the map.

I'd recommend you go progressive and add +1 whenever you want to create an additional party and you're limited by the game. This way the war stats are actually correctly calculated.

there is an issue where upon joining a faction, it declares war on everyone, i fiddled with the mods and i'm positive it's unlimited cap, can the issue be fixed soon?

@ALPS This mod enables you to modify companion limit and "party size" limit from the clan menu. For soldiers, use UnlimitedPS (Unlimited Party Sizes).

For some reason the unit cap its not going up its staying the same, The limit is 500 but its still on 116 I dont understand.

Thank you for explaining ???. I wish that it could be pinned or in the description above. I was able to alleviate the issue with the Diplomacy mod. Messing around with the costs of war and war reparations helped get everything close to baseline.

that would explain it. fair enough on that front. though if anything for me i would use it to get enough to run a trading empire to ensure enough caravans are going at all times and have a few with the parties to have a mercenary route be an option of sorts.

Hey guys! I've talked about this subject before. My mod only modifies the companion and parties limit, it does not modify any of the power calculation.

The game calculates your faction power based on troops, companions and so on. If you have 50 companions for example, the power of your faction will add up to very high numbers, because a companion gives much more power as you can modify their equipment, skills and so on, and they are also hard to kill permanently.

If your faction power is high, that will make the game balancing system target you, as the game wants to balance the factions. Basically if you have too much power, a lot of other kingdoms will target you just so your power goes down.

I can't modify this behavior without modifying the power calculation system, so be careful of this power system when you recruit companions.
The source code is easy to inspect using an app like dnSpy if you want to see what game functions UnlimitedCAP mod modifies.

Constant wars when you're a vassal. Either the kingdom you're a part of is declared war on, or other vassals will propose war - always at 100% approval. Once I left the kingdom, every kingdom at war with the kingdom I left - literally every other kingdom in the game, no matter the war exhaustion declared peace within a few in game days. This never happened before adding this mod.

Kingdoms still go crazy with war declarations whenever I'm playing as a vassal. 100% support for going to war with another kingdom all the time. When I leave my kingdom then it starts making peace with all the others

Hey guys! I was about to update this mod, and while checking the issues, everything worked well for me on the latest version.

1.2.9 with all my mods enabled I get 0 crashes.

Please download this mod from NexusMods and let me know if the issue persists. If it still persists, it would help me a lot if you open a bug report with more details so I can find out where the issue is!
