Or when it has a political outrage.

Thanks for mirroring on the workshop.
Too many mods go down with the nexus when it has an outage.

As explained in the description (how ironic), the sole reason why this mod is on Steam Workshop is because some people prefer it that way, but it is and will remain mostly hosted and managed on Nexus. Steam Workshop is too inconvenient for bug tracking, and pretty much everything in fact. On top of that, when this mod was still being developed, the description was updated very frequently, almost daily in some cases. Considering its length and the difference in format, copying and maintaining the description here would have been very tedious and error prone. Everything you need to know about this mod is literally one (or two) click(s) away.

Very nice mod, thank you. Nice to deal with the silly behaviour of a horse rearing up while at a full speed charge. Now if there was a mod for those silly night battles, or at least reduce night battles occurring by 90%.

To be fair the description doesn't say anything. It just says that it gives control over mounted related combat attacks and nothing else. You have to go to the nexus website in order to find a detailed explanation. Why the creator didn't just put that information in the mod I don't know. I downloaded the mod, and I came here to find out what it's doing; it has no explanation in the game, so you would have to keep going to this mod site, to click on the link to an external website just to get information; bit of a hassle to be honest. You can't blame him.

Imagine taking the time to comment but not reading the description.

@twitch.tv/Mattikush Read the description.

what does this do?

OMG. That's totally it. No wonder it isn't working; and no wonder it wasn't showing an error. I have TWO versions of it running over the top of each other; one from the workshop here, the other from Nexus. Only one was showing up in the mods list (actually not sure which one), but the config settings from one seem to have been conflicting with the settings from the other one. How the heck did I miss that?! I'm such a noob.

Oh also, I personally had some issues with mods not updating, and only unsubscribing and subscribing again helped. Check if you're running the correct version (should be v1.17.4).

Also if you've downloaded it on Nexus at some point, make sure you've removed it properly (there shouldn't be any dll or xml file in "Bannerlord\Modules\DontStopMeNow", only config files). I see many players having issues caused by the fact that the Workshop installs in a different folder.

Yeah, sadly incompatibilities tend to be silent, with one mod overriding the other completely. If you can figure out which features aren't functioning (is it just charge damage, rear up stuff, infantry vs mount charge damage, etc.) and what mod appears to be incompatible, then I might (emphasis on "might") be able to make a compatibility patch, but if nothing appears to work then it's more likely to be an issue with the way the mod is loaded or with Harmony.

If you've downloaded Harmony as a mod, you should be able to see all patched methods by pressing CTRL+ALT+H. Can you find references to this mod in there?

As of that last update of theirs, everything is where it's supposed to be, but.... I've been testing the file config settings versus in game reality, and they just aren't lining up. At the moment, nothing else I have should be conflicting. That doesn't mean it isn't, it just means that the other mods I have aren't supposed to be tweaking combat in any way. It could just be something to do with the last couple of patches. I just can't figure it out right now. Frustrating, because I have relied on this mod for a long time. I'll keep trying... maybe I should switch load order -.-

@catbox99 You can also check if there's something in "Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules\DontStopMeNow": If the config file in ModuleData isn't generated then it means the mod wasn't loaded at all. If you have a "error.txt" file then it means it failed to load. It won't show conflicts with other mods though.
catbox99 30 Nov, 2022 @ 8:34am
Seems to be conflicting with something I have, because it simply isn't working. If I figure out what it's conflicting with, I'll post it up.

v1.6.0 crashed during sieges depending on your settings. v1.6.1 fixes that. Makes sure you're running the correct version, you might have to unsubscribe and subscribe again because the Workshop doesn't seem to work properly for some people.
bm01  [author] 17 Nov, 2022 @ 11:14am
If you're among the unlucky ones who subscribed during the past 40 minutes, please unsubscribe and subscribe again. I inadvertently uploaded a different mod here. Don't ask me why the Workshop allows that.
bm01  [author] 15 Nov, 2022 @ 1:51pm
Last update tweaked the alternative damage formula and allowed mount vs mount charge damage. Self-Inflicted damage has been replaced. Check your config!

@MJEED Not with this mod. It deals with mounted combat only.

thanks for uploading to steam!

Another minor update to fix issues related to the in-game menu. The wrong options order and the dropdown menu not being updated properly when changing presets are caused by MCM. Nothing major. No other known issues so far.
bm01  [author] 10 Nov, 2022 @ 5:45am
Last update added a few options to match more closely how the base game now behaves. Since the Workshop auto-updates, please double check your settings / reapply the recommended preset. More info can be found on the Nexus page, under "Dismount" and "Knockbacks / knockdowns".

Ah, you appear to be right. Thanks for the report.
