There might have been issues having "duplicated code" in both mods, if someone was using both. I have removed the rare-resource code from my plugin as it requires this as a pre-req mod anyway, the net-results should be the same.

Sidenote: It's all working correctly in my solo and co-op games :)

@RustyDios I wasn’t aware of any issues either. I’m only running my mod right now and haven’t experienced any crashes. It seems like our mods might be conflicting and causing the crashes. I just tested it with your mod, and it crashes, but my mod works fine with others I’ve tried. I’ll test the "ignore if not existing" to see if it works.

And that worked very well, just had a 3hr long co-op session with both mods working fine.
If my mod is mod is loading before this one and removing the entry, then this one tries to remove the already removed entry - you'd get the same style crash without that extra line.

Sorry to have missed it the first time around.

It may be a mod loading issue with my mod ?

.. I had to add the [IgnoreIfNotExisting = true] line to all of mine to resolve a crash if this mod loaded first

Latest mod update crashes on start. Log says the problem is that there are several lines that refer to files on your personal drive.

So, I found out what the cause was, and have temporarily fixed it in my own mod here

Many thanks to Kroom, the dev, for giving me the insight to where to look.
Please feel free to look at my mod.rules (line 72 onwards) and copy/paste the fix direct into this mod :)

Since the latest game update, the colours of Gold, Carbon, Uranium and Tritanium are all messed up. They all look golden/yellow. This likely has something to do with the new "rare resource asteroid" setting

@Spectra The Icons of the Asteroids has a Fading Animation from non-transparent to transparent with a loop.

@DeadlyKitsune, my concern with my prototype was related to the potential confusion arising from these storage icons . The issue was not with the space-related icons. However, it turns out that the storage icons are somewhat transparent, which should mitigate any confusion.

@Spectra I already made a Mod and for my opinion you can quickly detect which Asteroid which Resource is.

I only need a logo for it and then I will publish it on Steam.

Here is a Screenshot of all Vanilla Resource Icons .

Note: The Resources are not transparent these fade automatically.

@DeadlyKitsune, that's actually a pretty cool suggestion. When I initially developed these mods, I was more focused on maintaining a vanilla experience. Nonetheless, I did delve into this concept at one point, although it never materialized into a fully-fledged mod. One concern I had at the time was the possibility of resources being mistaken for those already in storage. I think overlay items on storage have a semi-transparent appearance, so further testing would be necessary to determine their readability.

@Spectra Also I had a Idea to change the Resources Icons of the Asteroids to the Icons of the Resources on the right side if you pickup Resources, open the Ship Editor etc.

Is it only adds Color Codes to vanilla Resources? It will not add color coded Icons for modded Resources, right?

should be resolved now. The game dev deploys constant mini patches. The mod should work, but the only thing would be that annoyance after the game dev patches the game

Everytime I load up the game it says that it is not compatible with the game version and that it is deactivated. I always have to activate it again and restart the game.
