Pushed out an update to my Abilities and Assets mod to make the cone a touch wider, which is especially noticeable at longer distances. Had a few people test this for me and report back (thanks!), and they were very positive about it.

For the other part of the balancing puzzle, I'd highly recommend switching to the new Chemthrower Addon Redux, which, among other things, moves Canisters to their own dedicated slot. In the middle of a few projects at the moment, but will get everything linked and updated in the next week or so.

it is allready very strong in several specific situations. If you are not able to use himm effectivly you might want to go into yourself and reflect on the situations. Maybe you will find new tactics and possibilities once you put more thoughts into it beyond blazing guns

You know there's ways to say that without being a dick about it, right?

And yes, I'm aware the spec is on the weak side currently... I've got a few changes in mind that should help a ton (using all the feedback from Odd's Season 8), but haven't had a chance to push them through yet. Will be taking a look in a week or so.

Easily the worst class I have tried so far. Useless in almost all scenarios except lost which are a joke anyway. Don't use up precious class options on this garbage

It's out! No exclusion changes, but the spec's growths have been touched up a bit, and it's gotten a few minor buffs. (+2 aim and a late +1 mobility)

Heads up: Got a rarity pass for a bunch of my specs coming up at some point in the next week. The huge influx of new/changed specs over the past year or so has been great, but has also thrown a lot of older specs out of whack.

These changes are likely going to break some classes in ongoing campaigns, sorry! If you notice any characters that did lose their class, use my Console Helper's RandomizeClass command with one or more old specs, or (temporarily) remove the new exclusions in the matching spec's XComAmalgamation.ini file. (they'll be clearly marked as being new)

Good luck with the run!

i have all the other amalgamation specs. currently so i will try and add them to my game against Covert Operations, Purge Units and Prototype Armaments. A rather hard mix if you ask me.

Should be safe, provided you had the base Amalgamation mod installed already.

(not 100% sure if higher chemthrower tiers will show up if you did not start the campaign with that mod, but it should work at least)

Just a quick question, it will most probably end up with a yes, but here goes - do i have to start a new game or is it okay to add mid campaign

It's finally out! Only four months late, no big deal. (ran into some issues with my custom abilities, and then went and got addicted to Old School Runescape... all sorted now! I hope)
