You dont even need to change the file name from 1.4 to 1.5. That just prevents the game from yelling at you for no reason

The mod still works if you copy paste and rename the "1.4" file to "1.5" and add "1.5" in about.xml.

Bipilspure 5 iul. 2024 la 2:56
does it work in 1.5?

@ShinUon
Pretty sure the reason the numbers were not showing for Simple Fridges on Owl's screenshots, is because they are also using their other mod, Toggleable Readouts. I HIGHLY recommend it, as it improves performance more than you'd think. You can adjust settings, so it can hide item counts, fuel bars, electric symbols, colonist/animal names, etc. You can make it so things do not show their number counts/names unless you mouse over them, or toggle a key. Since it's another of Owl's mods, it makes sense they use it in their screenshots.

LWM already had those settings, is this a better alternative for that?

It works perfectly as intended—no need for people to complain as of today.

it looks great so far, though I would love to have a quick show button like in toggleable overlay

granted I'm not entirely sure how useful would that be considering I want to hide the items due to how cluttered the vanilla storage is, having deep storage UI would probably better, but in that case, why not just use deep storage but disable all other storage other than vanilla one

I set it to hide the Simple Fridges but I still see the numbers for the items stored inside. Is it supposed to be like this?

The screenshots for your Simple Utilities: Fridges mod were pretty zoomed in and no numbers were showing.

Hi Owl, got a quick one for ya. I have been using this for a bit, it does work quite well (as I've custom-hacked several LWM to vanilla storage method) but I did notice an oddity. Ammunition from CE seems to still be displayed above weapons cabinets which are set to hide rendered contents. I'm wondering if this is something specific to CE rendering or possibly an odd miss on item types. I can provide a hugslog/etc if you need but there aren't any errors being seen, just behavior. Can hit me up in Dubs or main RW on discord if you wanna discuss.

Yes, it was meant for vanilla storage users (like me). As of rimworld 1.4, its new storage system comes somewhat close to DS, minus all of the overhead that the mod brings. It was just lacking the concealed rendering, so here we are.

I think LWM Deep Storage already has this feature. What is the difference of this mod tfrom that feature?
Chewy Yui 17 apr. 2023 la 2:45
Doesnt seem to conceal corpses either? Hopefully you're still working on this or are able to address at somepoint.

TIA Owl

Hey Owl! This mod is really good, the only problem I saw is doesn't conceal buildings from a storage.

Lovely mod, such nice work done on the fridge model, shame to hide it.
