@melting someone else made one its prob not as extensive as what I have done with this or meant for NSC but you may be able to get them to make it compatible with NSC if you ask nicely

unless they have made some big changes to how they handle namelists this should work fine for most older versions of the game. the outdated version of this mod is still up for versions before they made changes to the way name-lists worked.

@phantom_Prime Thank you for that bit of info I was finaly able to fix the damn troop names. anyone who finds more problems let me know and I will try to fix it

The reason for it not working is that it doesn't have a localization file which is now needed to name armies for some unknown reason if you look at any other naming list you will see this convention.

@an_authentic_tincan I have not been able to figure out how to fix that yet. And i will never be able to come up with sufficient numbers of army names to not use a numeric system.
The way I did it before is broken and until I can figure out what they changed to the code I cant fix it.
I'm sorry if this disrupts immersion for users.

it seems to broken after the recent game patches, the armies dont spawn with the proper names

I will get around to fixing that as well a bit busy, and its less of a priority since few actually pay much attention to the names of armies

The army namelist is broken too, it also says %SEQ% no matter what for all armies.

Updated with Fleet names that don't rely on special coding so it will work and stay working even if PDX decides to randomly change up the way names are done again.
anyone using this let me know if I have too few available names, and I will add more.

@wickedFnatic Crap was hoping I fixed that. may be forced to just make a big list of fleet names. As I cannot figure out what Paradox changed to make what I had not work

Thank you for your work with this mod. I just wanted to let you know that the Fleet Name shows up like %SEQ% no matter the order I put this mod [before or after NSC2].
