The prefixing (Hull Classification) of the Corvette is fairly varied. I like all of the research people have shown. I will revisit the current list as I didn't label it CV to match Earth standards, however it would be a nice linkage to do so.

fleet combatant corvettes have historically been labeled K. Coastal defense corvettes have been labeled FS or PF (when used in a frigate role). The base C is for cruiser, as carriers were originally built on cruiser hulls. Anything with a V (either from the french word "voler" [to fly] or aViation) is always a carrier or aircraft related except for a few edge cases, like LSV, certain landing craft or submersibles. it's not necessary to use hull designations in any fictional setting, but if you don't do the research then you'll just make people who have roll their eyes at you (or worse in some cases)

For me, corvettes are CCV and carriers are CVA.

Hull Classification for Corvette is 'FS'.
'CV' is for Aircraft Carrier.

@ tyrosr this mod crashed my game on load - could be an incompatibility with other mods... Your fighter components mod works great!
