Does this work with the RomanHoliday's AI Rework (RHAI) mod?

Over here AI does not improve luxuries

@infixo Lol you're kind of right... but just an FYI those 'agreement's' garbage that don't hold up in court. Every time those EULA's end up in court the judge throws them out... the actual purpose of them isn't to provide legal protection but to discourage people from suing by making them think they have no right to sue. That's why a lot of people think that it should be illegal to even publish those terms. I can explain why and how this works, but I assure you copyright is exactly as boring as it sounds.

Anyway, I am glad that I could provide a workaround for this problem :)

@bigredcheese I don't think so:) I am pretty sure the steam workshop rules cover this and publishers are properly protected. I think the mods are legally owned by the owner of the game's IP rights. Users just rent the games now...

@Infixo: you know that might be illegal? Computer code is protected by copyright.

Not that I recommend suing them... but they owe you a 'thanks', as do we.

Has anyone figured out if Firaxis fixed the issue with the latest update?
Ansive 20 Jan, 2023 @ 3:17am
You only needed to sub to one of them, this one offering a cleaner implementation.
Sad that they can just take mods without asking.
I'll remain subbed until I see some feedback/results.

@aria They included exactly the same code as in my mod. Even formatting is the same (which is different than usually used), to the last space and line dividers. Most likely copied. Plus they boosted the value of improvements and luxuries like crazy (i.e. 2-3 times). I am not sure that last change is necessary. The AI will build Industries, because this is what my mod fixes. But I don't think that AI will build Corporations, because that is not covered by my mod. I am curious to see the results.

apparently rulers of china altered AI's behavior in monopolies mode, not sure what it does precisely. any idea if this mod is still needed?
Ansive 4 Jan, 2023 @ 10:47am
Guess I won't have to disable the mode after all, AI can now improve luxuries. Thank you.
For people that don't like the extreme tourism bonus you can also search for 'Anti-Monopoly' mod.

@axatoramus It works :)

Oh man, if this works, its a must have
infixo  [author] 20 Dec, 2022 @ 9:02pm
@viriya Only builders are changed. Nothing else.
Viriya 20 Dec, 2022 @ 6:24pm
I can confirm that this mod works. But I noticed that the AI in my game (Deity) founds much less cities. Maybe it was just this one specific game. Does this mod affect AI settler behavior?
churva looo 15 Dec, 2022 @ 5:30pm
Finally a fix for the luxuries! Thank You!
infixo  [author] 14 Dec, 2022 @ 9:58am
@thecoldhands Good question... why don't you find out and share with others?
TheColdHands 14 Dec, 2022 @ 9:04am
This mod Works with Monopoly++?
infixo  [author] 14 Dec, 2022 @ 3:24am
@涅亚·巴拉哈 When AI decides to make an improvement on one of the tiles, it also checks if it is actually possible to do that. There is a bug in the engine that somehow makes AI think that in order to make a Mine or Plantation it needs Currency or even Economics because improvements for Luxuries are located there. This mod removes this check, so AI just goes directly to the tile and builds whatever is possible atm, not waiting for Currency, etc.
infixo  [author] 14 Dec, 2022 @ 3:20am
@fossilized sadness It should work with JNR''s mod.
nea_baraja 14 Dec, 2022 @ 12:49am
Thanks to infixo for this excellent mod, it works well for me. Mods that fix AI's behaviors are rare and most of them are published by you. Can you tell me how it works? Tables like BehaviorTreeNodes or TreeData are hard to understand and there is no documents for them.
Fossil.21 14 Dec, 2022 @ 12:01am
this is great! by chance, would it work when used together with community patch? I'd like to use it with that. If not, you should talk to the creator of that mod and see if u can get it integrated because it is a better fix than the one they have.
