Could you make this addon notify the player about their flag being displayed before it's displayed, and allow them the option to turn it off before it's shown?

I was thinking this addon would do so because for eg. you live in a country that you're not ethnically related to so you would want your own bloodline country to show up instead

you can't, it uses your location as the flag
it's possible to add custom flag changes, but it's sorta not what the addon is made for (though i can try)

np, though if you have sv_cheats 1 in singleplayer, you can manually set your own flag
type "status" in console and look at the number to the left of your name, then type this:

lua_run ER.AssignFlag(Player(thenumberhere), "2 letter country code")

for a list of 2 letter country codes you can look here https://www.iban.com/country-codes
this won't really work on servers unless you're the owner, in which case you can type that in the server console
