Great design, a minor update to the design and it can be used to give people sun tan's and not just getting the rocks.

I dont think there is a need for the tractor beam anymore with the introduction of the resource collector. You can just mine them inside the Star's range and pick them up with the resource collector. Just turn off crew mining, and use the asteroid as cover while it mines away and collects the minerals.

I just realized that the Star Hauler is much more powerful, I read it's description and realized that it can go super close to a star and haul a large asteroid with little difficulty. This is another reason why I love ships capable of going to places others can't due to the conditions.

This is the best utilization of the Tractor Beams I've seen. I would use these as my regular mining ships! Thanks so much for this, Komyeta!

Ah no worries! The new tractor beam thing is simple actually, it's a 2x2 room, you place it like any other room, it gets staffed and powered, it can staff a total of 4 people and when staffed, when you mark something to be put into cargo, the beam will pull the item into the cargo of the ship without ever needing you to send your people out.

You can probably see how this is useful when in the radius of the sun!

Ohhh you mean the new device? Heck man, im sorry but I havent played this game in months and have no idea how the new things work, nor how to implement them here. Im glad you like the design though! Please feel free to modify it as you see fit, because... I dont think I'll be updating this any time soon, sorry to dissapoint.

Cool as hell designs, would love an update with the tractor beam item pullers to replace the big tractor beams, meaning you can mine in the sun without having to pull it out as the item pullers will bring in the ores without crew going out and turning to dust
