If you don’t want me to add you as a contributor, either:
1. Deny the friend request
2. Accept the request but tell me you don’t want to be marked as a contributor (if you want to have a crazy person on your friend list)
Thanks!
so, it's Here
RWoM is an optional compat, and if you enable it, then those genes become availiable! Enable Kures Class Extensions, and those classes are availiable!
also, if you run 1.4 with anomally installed, it causes a bunch of errors, apparently (found out when testing my mod in 1.4)!
tldr; my mod is here ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3114130835 ), and contains both RoM Genes and Class Genes, for both 1.4 and 1.5
i'm incorperating this into my mod (should be updated in a few hours at most), I'll put the genes into the 1.4 folder as well, just for you! (I like "ctrl+c")
The version number is purely cosmetic in this case, it should still work fine.
Should be fixed now, tell me if it's not.

And, I’ll comment the link as soon as the update goes live, which should be sometime today
also, do you think (both you and touchnir (integrated the class mod, but did massive changes to it it seems)), I should put you in the author line (labeled contributer. you can do more than one line in that field, and it forms more than one line in the UI!), or just mention you in the mods description (and the credits page, of course) (so, both, or only that second one)
also, ready what I did with yours? I first made 2 parent genes with the category and texture definied, and I used the texture that's already in RoM. Then, I removed both those from your genes, and instead made it use the base as a parent gene! nice, eh?
Go for it, i don't mind. The mod was really simple to make anyway. The artwork isn't even mine, it was all taken from Rimworld of Magic.
just made an update (not yet published) that includes this mod into my gene mod. is that alright, or would you like me to remove it?
thanks!
p.s. if so, may I re-use the artwork?
ARoM isn't updated to 1.5 yet so how can this be updated to 1.5 if it depends on ARoM? It's not hard to check dependencies
Have you tested if it still works? I doubt the update would have actually broken anything, unless they secretly changed how genes or traits work without telling us.
I actually plan on asking the RoM team if they would consider adding this (:
if Rim World of Magic ever adds new traits, will you update this mod?
i think cthulhu was there before the magic became an idea. jecrell is quite well known as a modder. r u sure u wanna mess with the common abbreviations...? x)
I'd say if you ever went to work on this again, I suggest this: Efficiency/Inefficiency of Mana or Stamina, meaning maybe increased/decreased regen/costs... is that good, or-
"This pawn has a magical gift. They can harness this gift to become a mage by studying the mysterious secrets within an arcane script."
"This pawn is physically adept and has potential to learn special combat forms."
Modifying a pawn's genes after giving them a class might mess things up though, I haven't tested that.
afterall those traits are there so they can be replaced with a class
