Needed some advisings, if you have the chance. Im in the process of making a mod to add war hammers and pole hammers to the game. Ive built the models in blender, How do you get the buggers into the actual game?

yeah seeing a 1.2.9 would in theory make this mod more stable for the next 1-3 updates so seeing once a year updates would make it better suited. Considering there is another update after that now out it would be smart to update it to that though. It would make less buggy and tbh probably even within just one update will extend the life of the mod for a additional year since its a weapons mod

Will you at least update it to 1.2.9? That is a good stable build many of us use. This is a beautiful well crafted work of art that should be showcased as part of the game. I know it's a pain to update and put on nexus but I believe if you dropped your donate link for us your motivation would change.

I don't think so, it's very frustrating considering that Taleworlds breaks most mods with every single update.

this mod is ultra BUGGED
it corruct your saved files, at some point after a while , having this mod installed, when u craft any weapons (even vanilla weapons) and sell them your saved files cant be loaded again. it give me this mesage '' a problem occurred while trying to load the saved game '' my bad for not see it wasnot updated.

is it possible to make a 2h sword mod like this that allows for cleaving like 2h axes? seems crazy to not be able to cleave with one of these weapons

Quick question, is it possible that could craft these with other parts of two handed swords aswell? since the items are in "rare two handed swords" instead of regular, and ive been trying to unlock more crafting items for the rare two handed swords menu but i cant get any.

But a thing I was thinking about regarding the Zweihanders, have u thought of maybe adding some of the 2h Axes animations on them? For that wide grip when you swing the blade?

Though out of curiousity will more high medieval weapons be added in the future? Would love to see a bunch of polearms and stuff from that era such as Halberds.
Or genuine bastard swords.

Hello! Not sure if I did something wrong, but when I play this on RBM 1.1.0 the swords sheath ends up on a shoulder instead of back or waist xd

Honestly, only criticism of the mod is that smithing requires you to find the mod specific swords instead of just allowing you to use the base game two handed sword recipe. Otherwise, it's extremely fun and balanced for the most part.

I think the mod is cool. No criticism. I echo error2k's statement that these swords often were huge. In the Paris museum of war, those on (vertical) display stood equal, or taller than me at 5'2". They're Renaissance-era swords - meant for the honor guard, or duels - in an age already taken over by gunpowder arms. Duels were a test of strength/parrying/overpowering, rather than killing. The flames only there to strengthen the blade against the massive clash of another huge sword, and prevent fracture. Functional, but largely, ceremonial in real life. But is it really fun to use one in battle in a game? Hell yeah!

I'm pretty sure that Zweihander was much bigger, almost spear sized. They were a tool designed for small frontline units that used the shape and size of those swords to counter polearms.

@GoldenRobot animations are a lot more different than creating a 3d model with textures, and this game is fickle asf
