is it possible to run IO with real solar systems? At least using the vanilla worlds?

I have not tried it on a huge large-scale system. I could see why it would have issues with things like that. And you already limited it on the server side correct? How many planets do you have? Ill try some testing see if I can narrow it down.

yes I added a lot of stuff, I can explain you in another chat if you want, but I'm fairly sure this happens because the scale of my system is much bigger than vanilla one.

oh i have never had issues with it. What worlds are you loading? Do you add anything other then what I have in my pack?

All of my players keep complaining about Reforged
I even set it up properly for IO via the xml config file giving way smaller range but nope, it's too unreliable. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes you gotta relog to make it work...it isn't really usable in any of my worlds for some reason.

did you not like Ore Detector Reforged or is it just for options not sure if its needed for the pack but I do like the look of the landing gear

well at this point i can just carry it on and add the modifications (or even the model) you need so we don't have different versions of the same mod around

Be aware, I updated the requirements for the respawn rover. Now it requires TBH - Heavier tanks because of the space-saving H2 tanks (4x1) that come from that mod. I've checked it out already, it doesn't require an IO compatibility mod so it's fine.

Ah actually I think it's a bad idea to put all together, better leave HeavyGas as a separate mod imo (HeavyGas IO Compatibility or something like that).

You might want to look also for the HeavyGas mod. It could be interesting to incorporate that one as well, so each gas has its own weight. ID: 2921890257 (of course this one is not for IO, so only works for H2)

Also we are looking at replacing the current water compatibility mod for our own custom one that will incorporate steam and gas options. The current Water compatibility mod has issues with its script and is just not what we want overall and is hard to tweak past what we already did with the "fix' mod we made.

Also, mind the balance, I've added some resources in the container to make it not excessively difficult for new players, so yeah I could put different things in it for your version if you want.

Yeah that water mod config file is a big pain in the butt because it's really easy to screw up.

Alright, I've just finished to build a spawn rover designed specifically for this modpack to allow players to get a fairly balanced start. Plus it integrates with water mod so we can make sure it won't spawn on water.

I've stumbled into a problem, though. The mod works, but the only thing I don't get is why the hell the wheels are not spawning with the rover. I've even tried to rebuild it from scratch but no dice. The rover spawns rotated (That's also strange, but not a big problem, the parachutes will pull it into the right direction anyway), but without the wheels...any ideas?

huh what's wrong with the survival kit? I think it's fine. The only change I would do would be to get rid of the emergency ration creator block and add make the survival kit be able to produce rations. I don't quite get why the original EDSR mod doesn't do that already...it's called "survival kit" for a reason after all

I found a way to use animated blocks I just have yet to do the compatibility mod for it yet. Right now working on a upgrade to the survival kit

So I think I've found a general issue about IO mod compatibility: seems that the Reforged ore detector doesn't work at all with IO detectors. It works on this modpack because this doesn't use actual IO ore detectors, but vanilla ones (because of the animated detectors mod).

Don't really know what's causing this issue, but it might worth investigating, because once the animated detectors are fixed, Reforged will stop working
