That being said it has led to the hilarious creation of Horsed.
This helps out with the most of mod skin issues, pretty sure it would help out
Overall, City of Drama (Regret) is a good mod and an enjoyable experience (if you're willing to use some modded stuff to get a fair fight), with a well-written story and enjoyable cast of characters. I sincerely look forward to more of this series!
Ok but give Aoi an animation for her 5 cost page, it was so underwhelming to see just a regular Pierce animation.
+The visual designs are gorgeous. I am especially a fan of the Comet Office, Regulus' design is one of my favorite ( Aoi best girl though ).
-The fights are a bit difficult. It's not a big problem since 90% of mods on workshop aren't balanced around canon, but it's still something to note. Since this is supposed to be a DLC concept, might as well balance it around canon, right?
-The final battle's mechanic is a little too simplistic. While I like how most of the guests in this mod don't have too much passives (similar to canon game's guests around SotC & Impurity level), I was expecting the Distortion to be more complex. It wasn't easy, but what you do during Alexander's 2 phases is basically just Survive 4 Scenes -> Hit Hard & Fast -> Next Phase . While it's still a very well designed boss with gorgeous visual, it's not as interesting as one would expect from a Distortion.
(REVIEW 1/3)
+Compared to the Monster Part (which is like an anthology), this one has a central storyline. for me, it's absolutely a plus! It's easy to believe that these events could occur in canon, and while there are a few caveats that is slightly not in line with what you'd expect from Fixers ( like Aldebaran not signing an official contract ), it's not entirely unbelievable ( like how the Comet Office did work with the Silver Shield for 5 whole years, which is a pretty long time considering how people love to backstab each other in the City ).
+The reflection of story through gameplay, especially during the Distortion battle. The most notable moment for me was watching Alexander repeatedly using "Combat Instructions" in his final, weakened phase even though his allies are all gone. It was a real gut punch.
Sorry, after some additional testing, I think it was due to a mod conflict. I am not sure which mod it is yet.
