Great mod with glasses weighting 1 kg!

Is there a way to create a version where any classes you wear work as a reading glasses? I would like to use glasses from mods but they seem to do not work. And i have in real life sunglasses that work for my Myopia, so it would cool have that in the game too!

Do the presciption glasses also negate the debuff for shortsighted? or should I not take both perks at once.

why not change "cannot read books" to the trait "slow reader", I myself am legally blind, and basically constantly have to wear glasses, but I can still read and write without them regardless.

can i use this with better glasses?

the repair stack should be removed or something with the glasses, because you can get to 20% from 100% from one hit and it just doesnt make sense to even use the 1 glasses versions because of this

how many minimum of chances repair of it? cuz if it reaches up to 1% repair chance, it will take thousands of glue, eyeglass, ductape and all of the materials u need... i hope u can just tweak it to atleast 50% minimum chances...

also i click the reading glasses as prescription, and start with the reading glasses. now in my inventory i have 2 prescription glasses. problem is the vanilla reading prescription glasses won't won't work. it is still blurry even if i wear it. ur custom presc glasses only works...

Can you make it where you can select your prescription glasses between regular and reading in the customization menu when spawning?

Hey, can you explain the letter codes at the end of the mod IDs in the description instead of going 1, 2, 3, 4? I think I grabbed the nerfed reading glasses one when I meant to grab the nerfed normal glasses and I'm not sure which one that is.

this is cool, but at the current blurriness, its kinda annoying to be without glasses. it would be way better and honestely a must have if the blur was a vignette depending on if your farsighted or near sighted. near sighted would have it be blurry towards the edge of the screen and okay-ish towards the character, ofcourse inventory and stuff is fine + reading. and then farsighted would be blurry near the character and not towards the edge, then have reading and such be disabled, or even debuffs to the carry weight since your unable to organize well.

Interesting challenge, but dont use it. My glasses broke and I accidentally attempted to put them on and they vanished so now Im permanently blind because of a glitch. I was doing so well on that run too :(

I love this mod, just asked for it to be added to the server my friends and I just started, and my god it's blast. I usually don't sprint around or anything, but the times i've lost my glasses screaming I CAN'T SEE SOMEONE HELP D:, and them coming to save me whilst i'm trying to find my glasses is awesome.

Is there any chance this mod could use ingame glasses?

In the case of nearsightedness, you can usually see close by. Even if it's cloudy in the distance, I hope you can see it better in the near area.

Great mod. I wish we also had some pretty glasses mods for the game tho...

I'll check the key ring thing whenever possible. It took a long time for me in order to figure out how to incorporate the clumsiness into the mod.
I actually want to try checking how to make a sandbox settings for the durability, still can't figure it out. when I do, I'll make sure to update it.

I assume it would work the same way as the key rings in multiplayer. I don't know how it's done myself but if you can replicate the functionality it uses then it'll just name after the player it spawns on.

Some mod options/sandbox settings for the durability of the glasses would also be cool if it's at all possible. Again, loving the mod, I think it has so much potential to be developed further if you wanted

That's actually a good idea, but I don't know how will that work if this mod was used in MP, although I never tested the mod in MP, and my reason for calling them "A pair of glasses" were for the reason that they're always on top of the inventory because of the alphabetical order.
Truth be told, it does look weird to name them like that.

Really great mod, only thing I'm wondering is if it would be possible to name the glasses "Name's Glasses", similar to how the game already names the key ring you spawn in with as "Name's Key Ring", would personally make it easier to look out for my glasses if I drop them and also help in multiplayer.

Failing that making them called "Prescription Glasses" instead of just "A Pair of Glasses" would go a long way, in my opinion.
