ive tried putting it at the top of the load order also.
no joy, needs updating if you have time, thanks.
Thanks for the feedback. I hope that my mod will reveal to you the gameplay of this faction from a new side)
I wanted to change his Magic Lore and this would be possible with this mod. So I asked.
There are only, it seems to me, a few problems in the numbers, which I will probably fix later.
For example, the speed of (useless) whirlwinds or the "situational nature" of almost all spells in the Lore of High Magic.
Unfortunately, such things are not available for the legendary heroes (and thus generals) of the Empire. Ergo: no human mage lord for me. :-/
I guess I'll have to live with that.
Well, and a little more discount for the "Final Transmutation".
Secondly, IMHO, I absolutely disagree with the assumption that Balthazar is weak. Absolutely not. In the game (vanilla), he is the most powerful wizard, due to the fact that:
1) Owns a strong Lore of Magic. Each spell is useful and is used periodically. For example, the same Lore of Life also offers 6 spells, but often only two are used, sometimes three (Earth Blood, The Dwellers Below and Regrowth), the rest are situational.
Also, Lore of Metal spells do not have useless effects. For example, "Birona's Timewarp" gives speed, which is an extremely situational effect, but "Lead Transmutation" does not give such "dubious" effects (i understand that one is a buff and the other is a debuff).
2) The problem lies in the high cost this spells (Metal), but the great wizard of the empire solves this problem thanks to a passive discount on the cost of spells, "Loremaster, Master of Metal" and items.
Balthazar Gelt is... unbelievable underwhelming. The High Master of Magic of the Imperium. Lord of the South and Conqueror of the Power of the Vampires of Sylvania - and if he uses magic in battle, he can't win against some swordsmen-recruts.
...sooo... Please give me and other Gelt-Fans a little more fun with a wizard, who could theoreticly could cast world-shattering ritual magic that can create permanent, kilometre-long barriers. :-)
I can, of course, but what do you suggest?)
Balthazar is a unique magician, and I don't see any point in adding any lore of magic to him.
lore
Thank you)
Unfortunately, the lord casters in vanilla are quite boring, since the set of spells is often not the best and interesting, which is why 3 spells are really used (+- often) at best.
I think some lore of death spells are great, but the lore gets overshadowed by others. That's what I like about you're expanded spells series: LL are more fun to use when they can cast a variety of spells.
Most likely I will add, because why not. If the Storm Dragon has the lore of life in this game, then why shouldn't she have the lore of slaanesh.
Yes, she helped Slaanesh in exchange for improving her magic, but in fact she only used the Lore of Dark Magic.
If we recall Age of Sigmar, then there she became the best user of Lore of Shadows, since she visited Slaanesh)
As far as I know the lore, she never used Slaanesh magic, which is logical, since only demons can use it.
The dark cult that worship Slaanesh (looks more like a brothel than a cult but yes it's slaanesh...).
In game she even spread slaanesh corruption and can recruit daemonettes.
It looks suspiciously logical (Slannesh for Morathi)...
I'll think about it at my leisure.
What would you think about adding lore of Slannesh to Morathi? Maybe as a fourth lore or in place of death.
