Hi, can this mod increase speed of ships? I just playing, not changing any speed setting and now my speed over 300 m/s, i always have max 100 m/s. Idk what change my speed settings, but i think its maybe some mod change my settings.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. It never made sense to me that Keen would introduce expensive long-range weapons like the artillery cannon but leave them with an 800m maximum detection range. The bigger guns turn so slowly and miss so often at that range that I always just stuck with the gatlings.

Excellent mod, 10/10, would artillery again.

@Savius You can adjust Assault Weapons Pack Ranges using Mod Adjuster v2 to get weapons in line with this mod.

Apparently Keen changed the ammo SubtypeIDs at some point so the ammo cost reduction isn't working...
(SemiAutoPistolMagazine -> Position0010_SemiAutoPistolMagazine for example)
Spent way too long trying to figure out why it wasn't working... :P

It helped, thanks. However, another question arose: I noticed that AI ships with artillery guns do not fire at 3 km. Apparently they still have the default range. Is it possible? If yes, how to fix it?

Change sync dist value in two files, Sandbox.sbc & Sandbox_config.sbc.

If not fixed by this solution, try while game running. first change value in sandbox_config.sbc, than save. If value changed in sandbox.sbc, it will not set back.

If you are playing solo, that's not causing any problem. You don't have to do this.

Hi, I started a world with this mod enabled but, my team and I decided the ranges were too much of a pain and we removed it. However, it appears the weapon range values remain modified even after removal. Where can I find those values in order to return them to their original value?

For some reason, even though I set my assault turret target range to 1.5 km, the AI still tries to aim at 3 km. Is this how it's meant to be?

I've test it on a different world, and... Yep!, its one of the mods, and found it which one is it.
Its WeaponCore - 2.4
It changes all the Ranges to their default values, if I remove wc it changes all the values to 0, but if there is a mod that requires wc it self activates and reset the ranges again.
Could there be a fix??
Or is it possible to make this mod override the WeaponCore ranges??

Could happen by other mods. Even Non related weaponary things, if other mod contain tags for this mod could be causing that(as i know)
Plz try put this mod top or bottom of mod list.
If happened while using only this, plz tell me more.

Does anyone knows why all my gatling guns and rocket turrets, + some others are set to 800 and can't go higher??

Not sure what's up but the railgun lead indicator is messed up especially at long range. It under-compensates for projectile drop.

I love the changes to the mod, however is there any way you can update the block description to reflect the changes? Right now, when I have selected a gatling gun (for example), the range pop-up still says 800m, even though the weapon is performing up to mod's level.

@kisstom503 No WC does its own range thing with the vanilla weapons. If you want to change WC vanilla weapon characteristics then use the mod packs for it. Northwind has one as well as Nukeguard.

no, i mean sync distance. this game isn't very performance heavy anymore, compared to the typical system out there. Everyone should be playing at max sync and max view, which is 20km and 50km, respectively.

You mean view dist? Sync dist are a option for multiplay, which is client receive info from host and sync with host. View dist option only work in locally

added it to my save. only the fire rate of the gatling gun, ammo cost and the lockon range was changed.

savegame has no weapon altering mods enabled

It is 'no ammo cost reduction version', will set all ammo cost to vanilla, use this mod.

I don't think that drops causing by this mod. Most of fire arms just modified stats not VFX, except railgun trail effect range to 5000 from 2000. If causing by railgun effect, you need lower graphic setting for that. If not, other facts causing that lag.

Is there anyway to make it so that the magnesium costs stay the same Im using it on a server that's centered around lack of resources so magnesium is pretty crucial in getting the limited ammo vibe.
