Thats what I had figured, it works well as a temporary stopping point and for holding up in the city while we do loot runs, but long term isn't preferred. But its a Dam, not a housing complex.

@Bayrain Thanks for the feedback. Initially, I planned the fuel depot as a base for the military, so it is equipped with many essentials for comfortable living. But the dam is more challenging in that regard—probably, the checkpoint on the bridge is the best place to settle there

Yes I use it on a server with +dozen other people. With the distance of March Ridge and its zombie population I use the Fuel Depot as a area to loot later in the game. With the housing and stuff, its nice to let it sit and become a hotbed for survivor homes.

I"ll send some of the new guys usually to explore the location and scout it, the fuel depot having less spawns than the city itself provides a false sense of security, usually with them being overwelmed when they go to March Ridge themselves. It works well as a small temporary base while looting March Ridge or other areas/map mods in the vicinity.

And we use the filtration plant as a temporary safehouse for looting Valley Station and the Grand Ohio Mall. Then the Dam itself as a safe haven in Louisville. The locations are really well done, and all Vanilla assets, easier on players with lower end computers.

The depot is connected to Marge Ridge by a single unfinished road, and restricting the map to the south doesn't make much sense since the developers constantly update it, and there's likely to be something there in the future.

I'm glad you liked all my works! You mentioned that you're trying to limit the map's border for newcomers—are you playing on a server? I'm just curious because, according to the analytics, my map is frequently used on various servers.

Also, if it's not too much trouble, could you tell me how you use these maps? My idea is that each map should provide players with a specific type of essential resource: the warehouse for fuel, the dam for electricity, and the filtration station for water. Do you build your bases on them, or do you just stop by occasionally to gather resources? It would be interesting to hear, as the only feedback I get is through these comments ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is a pretty great mod, this is nice. Wish there was a way into march ridge from the Fuel Depot or the southern exit out of the map being blocked off. Playing on Multiplayer, trying to get ways to deter new people from driving off the map lol.

Loving this, the dam and the filtration plant. All must have mods for my friends and I.

Love this, hope you port to 42. You should add more military tents and spawns around the depot itself to make it look like the military actually had presence there but excellent work!

I installed this not realizing just how much you added and when I stumbled across it im like god damn this is high effort, fits perfectly with march ridge, awesome mod my man!!

Sounds great! It's not a big issue either way, just an observation. I think everyone and their cat are waiting for b42 release to fix and release their mods. :D

@Swanky I did not specify the areas where military vehicles would appear. When build 42 comes out, I will update the map and add this as well as a few other things

Love the place, like the smaller, more unique places in general as opposed to the bigger metropolitan centers. Feels like this place fits right into vanilla, especially with the proximity to March Ridge being a military home town. Encoountered no bugs but for a military depot, strangely enough also no military vehicle spawns.

@Heretic The update occurred by mistake. I rolled back the map to the version before the update, the problem should already be resolved

@nencower Would you be able to add a road continuing to the west edge of the 34x44 tile at a point where it connects to the road to Elliot Pond? It seems like it would be pretty easy to make the two maps compatible by doing that and then loading this map on top of Elliot Pond.

Seconding a conflict with Elliot pond, Though I believe that this mod could work seamlessly with it with a simple road connector on the opposite side of the base.

@PattyFuckinRick This part of the road is located outside the map cells, for some reason it was not displayed on the map by the developers. So it's okay :steamthumbsup:

@nencower Hey there. I was just wondering if this mod will work with the mod "March Ridge Expansion". I love the concept of there being a dedicated fuel depot on the map somewhere especially with there being so many military base map mods in the workshop. I look forward to trying it out but not sure if it will work or not with March Ridge Expansion. Thanks!

sorry so late ,But in any map mod there is an object.lua file that has all the parking stalls and and they can be changed,I have done this with a few map mods.most military vehicle mods use the parking stall zone of "Military" for there vehicles to spawn so you have to change some of your parking stalls to "Military". hope this helps.
