I've been playing with a mod that decreases campaign movement range, but I started finding that the underway stance just didn't have enough range to get me anywhere useful. I'll definitely be trying this mod out, maybe with some other minor adjustments

Gosh between this and tunnel deletion(and a mod that increases movement in own territory) The game plays so much better! March and tunneling really only serve to let you or the AI avoid army's. Ass design i say. If you cant fight an army, than you shouldn't be in hostile territory.

Hey man, thanks for the mod! Would you consider publishing another mod that removes underway/undergrowth stances? I think it could be a great twist on new campaigns. I'd be willing to donate via paypal.

@Hecleas Yes, I have to admit that CA did a good job on this point. At first I thought it would be worse because it could affect the compatibility of other mods by having to redo the table, but since it allows you to disable it just by modifying these entries it's better.

For me it's also more comfortable for the player, without having to constantly switch between normal movement and march just to be able to reach a little further. I'm glad you like it, it's a simple change but it changes the way you play quite a bit.

But in the end, it's so much the better for the aspect (compatibility) with new factions.

And yes I am in favor of playing without forced march, because the AI ​​uses this mechanic extremely poorly and the handicap more than anything else.

The mod has been updated for version 6.
Because CA changed the table where this was handled I have been able to modify the way the mod removed these Stances, it no longer replaces tables. Also, due to the way it is handled now it is possible that new factions will no longer need an update to this mod to work. Donation page added for those who want to thank in that way.

Hey incata, just to say that they removed "campaign_stances_factions_junctions_tables", so to remove these stances you now need to use the "effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions_tables" table. I had to do this for my mod "Age of Honor". Check this out. Cheer.

@Not_My_Spiderman No, why would I object to something like that? It's a different matter if you're asking me to do it. I don't really have much interest in those mods, but since making this mod is very easy, I wouldn't have a problem doing it, even though I don't use those mods and they would probably have to be updated with every mod update. But if someone wants to do it, they have my blessing.

Would you be opposed to creating a submod for "THE OLD WORLD" and "IMMORTAL EMPIRES EXPANDED" ? Since they both add factions but are some of the most played maps of the game ? :)

Yeah, I like having Encamp, Underpath, and Ambush stances for High Elves, and they do not appear in my game, actually the whole bar is gone.

@Vaelore Onari Basically it is this mod, double time is the same but at sea. I don't know what would happen if I removed just the terrestrial mode and tried to enter land in that mode. I previously had another mod that did this too but using another method but I deleted it because this one works much better.

Hello Great Mod, Can you release a version that only removes Double Time for all factions, there used to be one in the workshop and it dissapeared, even from my Mod List!

Hey there! DLed this mid after chasing Vilitch around the Chaos wastes as Gelt last night, definitely a great mod! Would you be willing to consider a similar one for Underway stance? Or would two mods that presumably reference the same tables be a problem?

i just checked and that's only an interaction with the vampire faction, what happens with me is just hovering over the build icon for a garden of morr crashes the game, and i don't have a single mod on that could be effecting it, nothing i have is building related

@Ohen If I remember correctly, CA confirmed that error and gave some guidelines to be able to solve it when it occurs. I think it's in the patch notes.

Oh noble mod author, bless us with thine mod update. Without thy service, the AI runnest around like chickens with their heads removed in that silly March Stance. If that was not bad enough they even brood on their cities in March Stance without ever stepping in one direction or the other. The madness! They march but do not, it is a parade of statues, and as such they cannot do what they wouldest have done instead. These mad hens are possessed and only the most distinguished gentle mod author that I beseech can proceed with the necessary exorcism. I do not demand action, do not mistake this missive for one as that is not my intent. I speak only to communicate that without your effort this game is more of a Total Poultry than any sort of a Total War.

@Behrzerker There is no differentiation between the player and the AI, I already mentioned this previously, it is most likely that you are seeing some AI added by another mod that does have these stances since when adding new factions new stances are also added for them and obviously this mod does not eliminate those stances

I've seen AI being able to use both march and double time stance recently.
It's still disabled for the player, but I think it doesn't apply to the AI anymore, most likely from some recent patch, which goes against the whole purpose of this mod, so it needs an update.

@Pimpin Pippin Yes and yes, in order to eliminate these stances what I did was replace the original table of the game with another one that does not contain the entries of these stances and that is what eliminates them. Most mods are based on editing entries and adding entries but if you want to delete an entry you need to replace the table with another :lunar2019wavingpig:

@Drago ุ It is not a question of discrimination by organic or cybernetic brain, :lunar2019crylaughingpig: it is a faction issue, that mod adds some new factions and those factions have their own stance table. In short, the original factions that have been used in that mod will not have the marching stances but the new ones will. I could create a sub mod if there was a lot of interest in this or you can disable my mod since otherwise this will create an advantage (or disadvantage depending on how you look at it) for the new factions.

I'm using MIXU's for the Old World campaign, and I found a weird interaction with this mod.
I don't have access to March stance, but the AI does.

I don't expect it to be fixed, just letting people know.
It is a nice mod otherwise.
