It's not actually mine, though the author did release it years ago for whoever wanted to use it. Was unfortunately taken down from Gamebanana shortly after, but I did manage to snag the files from it off a different map.

It's a reskin of the Scouts bat from TF2, I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult to make it into a melee weapon.

I did enjoy fighting the insane amount of manhacks. I won.. Once lol. But hey.. I was wondering you would consider uploading the bat as a model. I would like to convert it to a melee weapon reskin and, since it is your custom model, i wanted to ask first.If not I understand.

No worries, I know how it is =p Populating can be a real pain in the rear end.

Glad to be able to update it though! I find too many decent maps get pulled from a rotation because of little issues, I'd rather mine not be one of them if I can help it

Excellent, I will rerun the map as soon as I can, I can't promise immediate results. My server is new and there's no guarantee I'll have a sizable crowd on tomorrow. I definitely want to keep the map though! Thank you for the update by the way. The timeliness is much appreciated.

Should hopefully be better now.

Had nerfed the manhacks, they now spawn much less. I also put the second spawner on it on a delay so it now waits a little bit for the first spawner to finish before it will spawn. Gives time to kill any currently spawned manhacks, as well as possibly giving a little breathing room should you manage to kill the first spawns before the second one starts.

Also gone ahead and cut the combine squad in half, and made it so only three of which have one manhack companion each.

Took the time to replace a majority of all the computers, keyboards and mice with a single prop to make it a bit more more server friendly.

Yeah, fair enough. Looking back on it I did set the manhack spawner to spawn a rather silly amount of manhacks.

Will look into both now and update as soon as I can.

The combine need to be limited, I would personally set the manhacks to no more than 12, likewise with the combine. You can exploit the combine, even if they're slow spawning, because they deploy manhacks, which you could kill the combine and far a manhack army. The manhacks are particularly what crashes the server, but the combine ragdolls aren't any better.

Thanks for the feed back! I haven't touched the map in a while but I'll definitely look into the issues you have experienced!

I have an unreleased version with the combines being nerfed a bit, will dust it off and see about updating hopefully soon.

@Delta7x, I was using this map on my server, I really like it and so does my community. I unfortunately had to kill it because the monstrous NPC count causes crashing. If you ever update this map, the manhack trap releases way too many manhacks, the combine trap seems to be unlimited, and the gas trap is active too long. I hope that helps you improve the map! It's a good, fun map, and if it's fixed I will gladly host it again.

Very well designed map! This needs to be noticed as it's one of the best custom maps I've ever used. I don't know if you will ever design another, but I would like to see one that's a bit more open and not so enclosed. Again, awesome map!

Very nice!

To get CS:S mounted to Garry's Mod you have to install it, play it (Basically just go to the main menu), then exit and start up Garry's Mod. In the bottom right corner you'll find a controller looking button, click that and click on Counter Strike: Source.

Unfortunately yes, most of the map uses props from CS:S as well as some misc textures for some desks, glass, and floors.
