Hey bro, nice mod but Im struggling to see what the hype is about, I'm testing and Im barely seeing any effects compared to the ones in your video.

do my graphical settings need to be on ultra or something? I am only using your VFX mods

@HappyRooster007 If flare effects are brighter, I'd need to find a way to disable that to use this, because I already got rid of another flare mode that made them too bright.

Amazing that this mod creates better explosions AND better performance than vanilla. Consistent 1 more fps than vanilla in my YAAB tests, with the whole Photon suite (Photon VFX and Photon VFX - Smoke).

awesome mod Wenza, I'm now using your mod instead of blastcore murr edition. Just one little suggestion: less smoke and a little more sparks when APFSDS hitting metal. Thanks for your work anyway.

Hey, I've got an idea that could make this mod feel much more realistic.
So with both vanilla and this mod smoke and dust are mostly gray.
If you could re-texture or replace the gray dust with brown dust I think that would make a night and day difference. As it would give the effect of actual dirt getting kicked up like we see in real life and blastcore murr edition for example
keeping some gray is probably a good idea but making the overwhelming gray into an overwhelming light earthy brown may work wonders for this mod!

New update! Blastwave effects have been reworked, and should be much less 'intrusive' now.
Some lighting effects were fixed.

I tested it now some rounds with blastcore: works very good together and gives some improvments in light, blast effects etc. Didn't notice any friction now. Also no performance lost. I realy like it :steamhappy:

At the moment, you need to remove the refraction pbo file to disable the refraction effect, I don't yet know how to set it up so it uses addon options. I will be releasing each effect addon individually soon to make it easier.

I can't seem to e able to replicate your bug on initial testing - can you specify which map you are running, and if you are using any other mods? For lighting, this mod only changes explosion effects and a few 'weapon fired' effects by altering brightness and colour, so I'm unsure how it could affect general lighting on terrains.

@Wenza I meant large amount of sparks on vehicle explosions. IRL this effect is especially noticeable when AA vehicle explode. You can watch on youtube for example S300 AA explosions videos

This is an alternative to Blastcore, there's no point running them together as they do the same thing. Photon is a much more FPS - friendly visual FX overhaul, whereas Blastcore is much more intense with extra particle fx. I mean no disrespect to Blastcore, it is beautiful, but it does hit FPS hard.
