Justin 17 Jun, 2024 @ 11:28am

Triton Supreme 15 Jul, 2022 @ 9:35am
Can you make it compatible with EUI, plz.
Mr_Silverhawk 26 Jan, 2022 @ 12:01pm
Such a great mod! I was wondering if you have ever considered creating a 'Greatest Powers' mod, similar to that of the Europa Universalis DLC that shows the strongest/best power at any given time. I think it will be a cool mod to have.
Blue64 8 Sep, 2021 @ 5:24am
This works well during that time-period.
Tamaskan ن 12 Nov, 2020 @ 12:49pm
How it works when you don't know all civilizations in the earliest eras ?
Zeredos 10 Jan, 2020 @ 3:45am
Awesome! thank you for this mod.
Yotom245 1 Sep, 2019 @ 9:57am
@JEELEN I love Civ. This mod made the game even better, thank you.
JEELEN 8 Jul, 2019 @ 2:18am
@Lucas: No, it shouldn't.
Volpe/Pinne 18 Sep, 2018 @ 9:57am
its saying that there is a newer version but i cant do nothing
lucas 19 Aug, 2018 @ 8:46am
@author Should allow city-states to be ranked as well
MaX-NOR 18 Jul, 2018 @ 2:57am
Good mod
Jaron 20 Jun, 2017 @ 12:20pm
When i download it, it doesn't show up on my mods list. Is there a reason for that?
framedarchitecture  [author] 25 Apr, 2017 @ 8:19am
@Arctic All my UI mods are mutually compatible and will all display in the drop down menu.
Kali 31 Dec, 2016 @ 10:06pm
Also should the arch be available from the start?
Kali 31 Dec, 2016 @ 10:00pm
Your global warming seems to replace this in the drop down menu. Is the menu available from the start?
Narrelama 3 Dec, 2016 @ 1:26am
Well, for me this mod works fine and thanks for the idea and the execution!

Why just 10? Well, blame Sid Meyer convention
Djurimaru 7 Aug, 2016 @ 12:47pm
The game doesn't work with this mod. It is only when I don't have this mod in my list that they work normally. When I do add it, my game automatically starts with barbarians having their turn followed imedeately by the defeat screen, Would really like to use this mod, Any suggestions?
Reptile 1 Mar, 2016 @ 1:09pm
Great mod, but I gotta ask, why only top 10? I would love to see all of the cities in the world. Also a great feture would be to have the ability to sort them by population.
Shanerino 19 Feb, 2016 @ 8:41pm
love the idea
clcman 31 Oct, 2015 @ 11:29am
@zArkham4269: I believe the Triumphal Arch is technically a National Wonder, so the price goes up per city and you can only build one. I DO think that your arch provides more gold every time you win, though.
zArkham4269 2 Oct, 2015 @ 7:34am
Not sure if it's a mod conflict but I've had issues where my capital wins Greatest City in one era and then I work to make another city the best in another era and I win but I can't build a Triumphal Arch. Is it only one per civilization?
Clutch McGee 2 Aug, 2015 @ 4:25am
How do i get this to work, it doesn't come up on my mods in the main menu
gamerINchief 7 Jun, 2015 @ 7:46am
omg, where has this mod been? Was looking for this kind of mod years ago and had given up on it. Thank you.
SapphicKerfuffle 18 May, 2015 @ 3:47pm
as for tourism i can see how that might reduce compatability but could you maybe increase culture by 10% maybe?
SapphicKerfuffle 18 May, 2015 @ 3:46pm
the AI will get enormous food, production and gold boosts in cities on deity so that was my concern especially given they build wonders very easily making their cities even better so there was my concern on difficulties such as deity
framedarchitecture  [author] 18 May, 2015 @ 1:14pm
@Politic Revolutionnaire I play on Emperor and above and its very possible to "win" on those levels. The code looks at the raw city data, so every player is on an equal footing. I don't want to reference BNW only code (tourism) as that will reduce compatibility.
SapphicKerfuffle 18 May, 2015 @ 1:08pm
A very nice concept but it seems impractical on higher difficulties as the AI with its bonuses will get it every time until the atomic era at least unless you go for domination victory. May i suggest the winner gains a 100 tourism boost to all civilizations.
Sepiyat 10 May, 2015 @ 2:28am
Love the mod, thank you for making it.
Pontiac Jones 7 May, 2015 @ 6:09pm
Awesome. I really missed this from the prior civ games.
Gargusuz 28 Apr, 2015 @ 6:06am
Top cities was used to be in civilization. Its nice
framedarchitecture  [author] 7 Apr, 2015 @ 2:41am
@zoo_ropababy Please kindly refrain from barking orders at me. You're welcome to change the mod in any way you like.
Antony 6 Apr, 2015 @ 6:23pm
This mod reveals unmet civs in the game. This is a very big no no for me, do something about it!
FurryGuyJeans 29 Mar, 2015 @ 12:59pm
I like the recent update, enhancing the bonus yield with each age change. Now there is a good reason to build the Triumphal Arch as soon as you can.
r_agnew 21 Mar, 2015 @ 8:15pm
Awesome Mod! The only downfall on it is that everytime the same city gets the worlds greatest city acheivvement, it only gets to build the Triumphal Arch, therefore if you have already built it no new benefit. Can this be fixed like adding it so if its a city's first time winning the greatest city acheivement it gets the triumphal Arch then after that it gets like production boosts or gold booosts or something...... thanks for making the mod though....goood job otherwise.
Walker 16 Jan, 2015 @ 3:50pm
@Ah I see makes sense! I feel dumb now. Thanks!
framedarchitecture  [author] 15 Jan, 2015 @ 9:37pm
@Walker Your city becomes the greatest of the next age, not the past age. The mod looks forward, not backward.
Walker 15 Jan, 2015 @ 5:03pm
Nice mod! I only have one very minor issue. When I win the Greatest city for ancient era, it says that I won classical, era and so forth for each era. Any ideas to fix this, or is it somehow intentional?
Amom 28 Nov, 2014 @ 12:53pm
Un mod genial. Gracias.
framedarchitecture  [author] 31 Oct, 2014 @ 7:21pm
@⺈ĐꚆѓøčĶ῭Ǭج৴. It's an interesting idea.. thanks!
Aussiehawker 4 Oct, 2014 @ 6:05am
1 Happiness and a golden age plus building it isn't worth it. It should be at least 5 happiness.
framedarchitecture  [author] 24 Sep, 2014 @ 6:20pm
WARNING: Updating to v.8 will break the Hall of Fame from previous saved games, though contemporary data will continue to be displayed correctly.
No one 28 Aug, 2014 @ 5:08pm
Why the change to having to build the arch? Seems like it was better when it was rewarded.
FurryGuyJeans 21 Aug, 2014 @ 10:04am
@framedarchitecture, thanks for your quick reply and thank you for such a wonderful mod. I rarely build the Triumphal Arch but I enjoy the ranking system's additional info on cities.
framedarchitecture  [author] 21 Aug, 2014 @ 10:01am
@FurryGuyJeans v.7 is backwards compatible with v.6 and v.5 and will not break saved games. Best, FA
FurryGuyJeans 21 Aug, 2014 @ 9:58am
@framedarchitecture, can the latest version, V7, be applied on a V6 saved game? Or will a new game be required?
framedarchitecture  [author] 20 Aug, 2014 @ 3:23pm
@Maguyver I've loaded this mod in many orders (first last middle) with my own mods and have never had new era not proc. v.7 might be a fix for the issue, but I just don't have enough information to make firm pronouncements about what has gone wrong. I don't generally worry about compatibility with mods other than my own. Gedemon's mods are especially difficult to compatibilize.
flyingsquirrelVI 16 Aug, 2014 @ 12:42pm
@framedarchitecture No, I always start a new game when using new mods, and no, i started in the ancient era.
Maguyver 16 Aug, 2014 @ 11:57am
framed, it seems like (at least in my circumstance) that Greatest Cities is picky about its load order and really likes being installed/loaded first. Once I removed everything in the MODS folder and restructured it with GC first, it was happy.

Also while you're reading this, I found that Expanded Resources doesn't play well with YnAEMP. The resources won't spawn for me on those maps. Not sure if you're interested in taking a look at that or not, but I'll cross my fingers. :)
framedarchitecture  [author] 16 Aug, 2014 @ 11:18am
@flyingsquirrelVI Are you loading this mod with a new game or with a past save? Are you using advanced start?
