I hope someone makes Imperfect Cell. Not sure why, but I've always liked Imperfect Cell more, his design is just creepier and more unsettling than the more human-ish Perfect Cell.

down-special was meant to be a shine basically but found out yeah this alone make the character insanely overpowered
so removed the jump cancel on hit from it and made it abit slower

now it serve other purposes like a pretty good edgeguard tool since it has a knockback direction like zetterburn´s Nspecial so if you hit from the very bottom it will spike

pretty good, pretty sweet, pretty smooth, flows nicely, and everything but down special makes sense.

i wonder if theres a color that he will add a blue jersey on him and idk else

yeah thinking to make more colors for him very soon
just had abit of a modding hiatus but i am returning to modding again and patching Cell is 1 thing i wanna do soon aswell

Ever plan on adding more colors to him? I think an adjustment to the Buu color to make the white a bit less bright would be nice, and he could use some more options in general, either based on his DBFZ ones or if you really want them to be references, I've got some ideas. An Android 13 color, an Imperfect color, a Cooler color (just add blue to the frieza one and make the purple darker), a Meruem color (Hunter X Hunter villain, very similar to Cell), and a Moro color would all be awesome.
As a bonus, Orlando Magic (basketball team) colors would be incredible as a reference to that one gif of Cell playing basketball, and it's a pleasant color scheme too.

yeah I know thats a lie because perfect cell at level 9 is busted. Yes beatable, but not before having seen the ki blast spin and slide move 99 times per second. and he somehow has perfect timing with UStrong whenever im above him no matter what.

im not even full out "competitive" skill level at the game and im able to beat him at lvl9

and lvl3/5 CPUs dont do much in general

can we get an ai nerf? tired of getting world champion'd every time i try facing him on lvl 3 or 5

sadly not fully doable
becuase rivals only allow for 8 colors to be changed via coding
Goku´s beam using the "blue" on Goku himself so thats why Goku´s beam can be changed

but Cell dont really have anything "blue" and Cell himself used up all those 8 colors

do you have any plan to change cells beam with skins like gokus beam does

yes it is gonna be stronger AI : the AI has the same balance as the player btw no buffs to it just the AI is good at playing the game

insanely fun to play as, and KINDA to play against,his AI is a bit annoying imo, its very good dont get me wrong, and fighting it makes it for a hella tough challenge, Its just that cell has a very weird addiction to spamming F and D tilt 5 times in a row.

I recently tried this mod with the Final Smash Buddy and his Final Smash does exist, but his animations don't exist or aren't showing up. Is this a bug or is it a work in progress?

Ah, gotcha. I did notice the spike but I was just wondering if it has some alternative purpose as maybe a reflector or something.

it can spike if hitting at the bottom at it like zetterburn´s Nspecial & is a long lasting hitbox compare to Down-air spike
the charge is mainly there for mix ups against like a parry or air
dodge


i did try ones with basically make it a complete shine but found out that was just too much for balancing

This is the Perfect Cell in the workshop so far. It is well made and has its sweat into it well, but when facing level 9 Cell, the code you use for battle has its one annoying thing where the AI perfectly times a hit when it is in the middle of being hit already not being able to do combos when facing level 9 Cell. It is well worth facing level 9 Cell though, it is a tough challenge. I found this out when using Morcilo using a bomb to self distrust myself with cell. Everything else is really perfect. Keep up the hard work.

1. not a good way to give feedback on the character´s balance at all
reminder can always patch the character if a problem no need to be rude like saying "shit character"
2. there is times where people "think" a move is broken meanwhile its not really
i do agree on Cell is a high/top tier kind of characters compare to what is used in workshop tourments but "broken" : unsure about that becuase not really used in tourments yet
also he is a "new" character
not used to fight against the character is not the same as broken thats why unsure about that

kinda forgot to remove the FS so currently not compatible with final smash buddy

Final Smash is missing sprites. (Unless it wasn't supposed to be there but I doubt it).
