No Crate Missions For CI

Thank you. :) I think I wiped out the whole game recently enough, not enabled the mod mid-campaign and I only have mods from the workshop. Yes, not a big problem, I just reload until I get a honest supply raid and it usually takes only a few tries.

@mikolaj.konarski From my experience, the only time that I've gotten the "crate" mission in CI when using this mod is when I started new campaign without clearing out my configs first or loading this mod mid-campaign. The only other thing that I can think of would be a Local Mod(not Workshop) messing up your Config Load Order since they would normally go last. Good news though....the crate missions are not crucial and totally optional, so they can be skipped. Good luck Commander!

I reloaded a save just before that crate mission and, after a few tries, I now got a Troop Transport (without any Radio Relays). So if it's try radio is needed for these missions normally, it means your mod sometimes works in the same circumstances that it fails in other cases. Perhaps one of the crate missions (e.g., the one with xenophorm biome) is not in the config and so it escapes the filter?

Thanks a lot for the mod. I have many other mods and perhaps it interacts with this one badly. It seems to work some of the time, because I think I'm getting supply raids early that I shouldn't be getting (I think radio masts may be needed for that), so these are probably substituted in place of the crate missions. But once in a while I get a crates mission and it hurts, because I need to reload and redo whatever squad preparations I made. If you are interested, I can publish my mod lists or debug whatever helps (I have a save for the last crate mission).

Well, the entire point of this mod is to remove CI's crate mission. That's all it does. If you're not running CI you don't need it.

You say cover infiltration is the only requirement, but then that mod requires a huge batch of mods to work as well.

but i for one, cant remember ANY suply raid missions that where not ufo ones. i think i had one supply raid that was not named supply crates but turned into supply crates. i was not amused. it seems to be ridiculous favoured.

@Snake 966: To be fair this mod reduces variety though as it removes one mission type and replaces with one that is allready in the game.

This might end up being a good mod for me to use just for the sake of my own sanity. I use Stealth Objective Interaction and it's far too tempting to just walk a stealthy class into the AO and snag every crate without breaking concealment. It doesn't help that these missions get extremely tedious and are also moderately difficult in CI when played normally.

We do need more variety. Those supply crate missions get old.
