I always wanted to make him but didn't know how to bring him to rivals
If you think about doing Barry Steakfries contact me please, I'd love to help for ideas and spritework
Actually never mind, go ahead anyway. I'm planning to do a scale rework but that might take awhile. So if your edit uses this, give it a go.
For now, no. But if I'm inactive for a long time. then go ahead.
First, the size. He's kinda huge compared to the other rivals characters. Scale him down a bit and we're good.
Second, a few frames are a little bit off. Like the Dash turn around. he kinda clips in the ground mid-turn. Also the Up Air his sprite is slightly to far forward which kinda throws off combos since it's kinda hard to tell where the hitbox starts.
Third, he feels just a tad too quick. I don't know if the scaled-up sprite has anything to do with it, but he felt really zippy which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just think he should move a bit slower and have at least a little start/end lag on his attacks to make him more balanced.
Other than that, he's really well done! Really good character.
Also I would simply like to thank you for bringing my childhood favourite mobile character to rivals.
Very cool!
