It's been far too long since I looked at the code to confidently state, What you can do is look at the RHS/CUP compatibility patches and reverse engineer from that.

Yeah I have his old code, but I may need you to integrate it, or not. I have to look at your stuff and see how I can manage to get it working. Like can I specify classnames for the HMD so it'll work on specified helos?

@EricJ As long as appropriate credits are given Its fine, I believe Kimi has given their blessing in the past for re-purposing the code as long as its credited.

Also another question. Is it possible to integrate the Ghost Hawk and Hellcat HMDs in my own helicopter mod since I'm using outdated (but still works) HMD code? I like how you did it and was looking to update my HMDs.

@EricJ I didn't create the original code, I merely fixed errors in it that were introduced in one of the Pylon updates. You'd have to reach out to Kimi for anything regarding that.

Do you by any chance have any OPFOR (like the Orca or Kajman) HMDs in the works? I need an OFPOR HMD and maybe if you could do one for me? I need it for my helo pack and I can't adapt the HMD stuff from those helicopters into my own OPFOR helicopter.

@Grand Mentos compats should be working, I only tested CUP and MELB once when I originally made the fix so theres potential for them to have broken but innate support should be there. RHS I have frequently used over the last few months and can confirm works.

update, sadly it doesnt. the Cougar is still using the old hud/hmd setup ((its kinda aweful to look at in comparison))

cant get this mod to work in the 3DEN editor, i.e the custom gun camera with the grid references.

Kimi removed the Kimi_UI_Optional.pbo file from his own mod awhile back. So I think you snagged the original files after the removal.

@kaldra Versvesh - This is to be run standalone, Ill edit description to make this clearer.

As for Kimi_UI_Optional.pbo I haven't edited that specifically so its likely it was missing from the original as it automatically detects what does/doesn't have a UI in vanilla, I mostly copied across Kimi's original description for consistency, I'll rectify this.

On another note, Kimi_UI_Optional.pbo is not present in the modpack files, have you removed it since you first put this out?

Now do we run this along side the original? Or is this designed to run independent? I'm assuming independent reading the notes, but I just wanna be certain.

@TomoKIN - Good deal! Might I suggest you make a notice on the original's page so others will know of it.

Me? Nah, I am fine with original and I do not use the pylons, so it never was a big deal to me.

HOWEVER, on Kimi's page, you will find me defending his mod from people who did not understand how things work, in particular, his mod was before pylons were added, so they called his mod 'broke', when it is not.
