Colin there is a new version here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=304247876
Sorry I left the old version up so people don't have it disappear.....

A little point to notice: Weymouth has 3 platforms, not 2

I already shared enough below! :-)

Thanks Philip. When you have terrain in your route gradients are a no brainer. Because if you use the information available it all just works itself out. But I am not going to share information here when I have done all the research.

You can get gradients from the book 'BR Main Line Gradient Profiles The Age Of Steam', that's what I used for my Truro-Penzance route.

It is a bit fiddly. I had my problems with it at first. But once you are determined you will get it.
My forum commentary:

More here on tips of how to get it in to the route: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=365&t=138669

Ok Dan, I'll try it out. Thanks

Alex, you can place DEM into your route! This is how:
You don't need ReDEM.
All you need is the files from viewfinderpanamora.com in 1' or 3' format.
You place them into the DEM folder in your MAIN Railworks folder. In the DEM folder you place the .hgt files into SRTM.

http://railworksamerica.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7821

Also, on the comments on one of your updates for this route there is some commentary about someone telling a girl how to put it into your route.

But the problem is your track will not be on the same level.

That is why when you start a route you generate the terrain before track laying.

When you go into the editor and have the files there, you go to brush mode in the left hand top box flyout and click the 2nd button on the bottom row (third row). It will ask you some options.
In TS2013 you used to press T but not now. Just the third row middle button on brush mode.

Out of curisoity, how are you getting "un"fake terrain? I can't find any tools to do it with, hence i'm only using the tool that builds up ground around the track, road, path etc.

@JS2014 Photography and Video!: The swnanage line already exists on this version: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=257442125

It is a bit of a mess. I use RW Tools like everyone says you should and set up a blueprint but cannot publish an unrecognised blueprint.
Basically a trick needs to be found for everything on this editor.
It quite easy to use actually but the little tricks are the biggest problem.
I couldn't create a US route in TS2014 so I had to use RW Tools to set up a blueprint so I had a sky otherwise it was black. That is right, no sky! Just black. But the ground was lit like it was day time as it should.
Anyhow, just published the update. Still having problems with setting up a quick drive. Going to have to nail this. You will have to look for the update in workshop.

yep tried all that it shows i downloaded ok just cant find it just sends me to quick drive on another route

Try a free roam or quick drive.

Did you subscribe from Steam? Or download from mediafire? I need to update the mediafire upload.
ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. 2014 kl. 0:16
Thanks Peter. I got the Quick Drive scenario working and also free roam.
I assume from your last comments on the Trans-Australia line you have almost every DLC on Steam. I tried the quick drive and it works. Did you try Quick Drive? I made 100% sure the quick drive is there.
