The PsiJack is the same weapon category as the Shard Gauntlet. So just like you can equip Shard Gauntlets on Blutengels you can equip PsiJacks on Templars.

Psijacks also appear for the templar. Is it possible that it only shows up on the Blutengel?
do you think it has anything to do with
RequiredSoldierClass=“Templar” in XComWeaponTuning.ini of MrCloista's mod?
if that's the case, what should I put instead?
Thank you!

@Argyre The short answer is no. The Blutengel is designed to consume HP, which means that there WILL be a healing period after each battle. BUT! One of the base perks of the Blutengel is a skill called Bloodied Shroud (it is part of the Proficiency skill) that reduces all healing times for the soldier. The amount of time the Blutengel is out of commission should be on par with a normal "tired" cycle.
Argyre 29 Sep, 2024 @ 2:39am
Please tell me what to do if, after applying HP-consuming abilities, blutengel immediately goes to the hospital with an injury? Is there a limit on the health used for abilities without getting injured?
Thank you.

I'll do that. Sorry if I showed my ignorance and thank you for your direct answer.

I apologize for the inconvenience of this setup. There is a significant amount of effort that has to go into renaming a project. The amount of skills this version uses from LW is actually very minimal. You should be able to use this version in a non-LW game with minimal issues (there will be a couple missing perks in the XCOM row and a "useless" pistol row since they cannot use pistols) but the core perks for the class itself will still be there and will work just fine.
LightenedDark 26 Jun, 2024 @ 9:23pm
If I occasionally play non-LWotC, merely installing this mod creates a duplicate ID with your other WotC class. Enabling the non-LWotC one also enables this one which requires LWotC...

Can you rename your old one's ID?

Thank you for the quick update! I can confirm that the update fixes everything. :)
FearTheBunnies  [author] 25 Jun, 2024 @ 7:57am
@Everyone Pleas update this mod. It should fix your games.
FearTheBunnies  [author] 25 Jun, 2024 @ 5:55am
@Everyone Mitzruti pushed an update to their Perk Pack and accidently broke this mod. I am fixing now and will announce when it is updated! I apologize for this and thanks for your patience.
Tyralocus 25 Jun, 2024 @ 1:48am
Just encountered the exact same issue as Mere Michelle. Same error and game no longer starts, and disabling Blutengel allows the game to load again. As mentioned, the only dependency that got updated was Mitzruti's Perk Pack.
Mere Michelle 24 Jun, 2024 @ 6:32pm
Hello an update on the mitzruti perk pack yesterday seem to have broken the mod, it says error detected attempting load of package: FTBBlutengel and does not launch xcom 2, however when I disable the mod it does launch correctly. I am pretty sure it's the mitzruti perk pack since it's the only dependency that changed since the last time I launched the game.

Hello there again! Devouring Shadow has no animation besides target just floundering in the air. Is it normal or i miss some dependecies?
FearTheBunnies  [author] 16 Apr, 2024 @ 1:30pm
Yup, just a small oversight on my part. Thanks for digging into the root cause.
Johnny_exe 16 Apr, 2024 @ 1:26pm
Oh thanx! Very nice class mod. It's strange that no one has noticed dissapearing skills until now. Been searching for conflict in mods for 3 hours straight and solution was that simple :D
FearTheBunnies  [author] 16 Apr, 2024 @ 1:13pm
@Johnny_exe Should be fixed now.
FearTheBunnies  [author] 16 Apr, 2024 @ 1:05pm
@Johnny_exe: Good catch. I will fix it.
Johnny_exe 16 Apr, 2024 @ 1:02pm
Hello there! On rank 8 Blutengel lost access to soultap and dance of the death skills. Perhaps because of this:
RankCondition3 = new class 'X2Condition_WOTC_APA_TargetRankRequirement';
RankCondition3.iMinRank = 6;
RankCondition3.iMaxRank = 7; // No max rank for level 3 bonuses
RankCondition3.GiveProject = 'FTB_BlutengelUnlock2';

.iMaxRank = 8 - should be this i believe for other two unlocks too
FearTheBunnies  [author] 16 Oct, 2023 @ 9:09pm
@hottt3 I did decide to reduce the overall psi offense of the class from 50 base - 100 max to 30 base - 85 max. I felt that the extreme psi offense actually was out of line with the original vision of the class and so took the step to reduce it. I had always meant for this unit to be a frontline tank or damage caster and having the psi offense to also be a controller felt a little too powerful.
hottt3 16 Oct, 2023 @ 8:09pm
Please don't change anything in this awesome class! I very much like it the way it is. I play LWotC "one soldier - one class" game and this class is quite unique!
FearTheBunnies  [author] 16 Oct, 2023 @ 7:18pm
That is fair, and part of the reason why I made sure the Blutengel at least sufffers from the will drain. Unfortunately, not everyone plays with PExM, so I went with a "normal" Psi class amount. I will definitely consider lowering it though, since this is a promotable class and does not require any kind of special training, and helps make it more distinct against the traditional Psi classes.
FeeL 16 Oct, 2023 @ 12:36pm
i mean with ex machina best trained character with psi amps doesnt get even half of that....whats the point in them if this dude from start is way stronger
FearTheBunnies  [author] 16 Oct, 2023 @ 5:21am
@FeeL This is a psionic class at its core. It has Psi Offense progression similar to a traditional Psion (the one you train in the base game) and then you throw in the psi offense from the psi-amps and it does get crazy.
FeeL 15 Oct, 2023 @ 11:56pm
well im playing with ex machina mod and this class for some reason gets crazy amount of psipower....like i can mind control anyone with 100% succes
TheCainPack 29 Sep, 2023 @ 12:08pm
Incredibly fun class to play, also incredibly broken. I like class but the passive restoration is way too broken with the way the class functions. Whether that's even a criticism or not depends on your perspective, I edited out the ability for rookies to roll the class through the random pool and am about to start a new game where I limit my game to one blutengal as a sort of ringer to deal with LWOTC's more bs moments with, downloaded the Alucard from Hellsing Abridged voice pack to go along with such a fitting class, gonna be a fun game. Thank you for making it.
marshmallow justice 9 Sep, 2023 @ 1:14pm
ah thank you i forgot the name of that mod/functionality, been a very long time since i played xcom/lwotc
FearTheBunnies  [author] 6 Sep, 2023 @ 5:38pm
You will need the Additional Soldier Commands and use a console command or the mod that lets you retrain the class from the Training Center
marshmallow justice 6 Sep, 2023 @ 2:55pm
How can I change the Blutengel class I have from the old mod and refresh it with the new mod?
hottt3 15 Aug, 2023 @ 3:58am
I'm playing the game with this class (and without [WotC] Shield Rework mod). And I must say, it's a really great class to play! Quite different from any other class by it's game mechanics. Thanks again for your great work!:cure:
hottt3 31 Jul, 2023 @ 11:11pm
Okay, thanks for the answer. I think I'm going to test it)
FearTheBunnies  [author] 31 Jul, 2023 @ 6:49pm
If you don't want to add traditional Ballistic Shields, you will have to change the allowed equipment to the version of the shield that Templars use. Technically LW creates its own version of the Ballistic shield and the two play perfectly fine together.

As to shield rework, I am pretty sure it just modifies the standard ballistic shields, so it will not affect the LW shields and vice versa. While this class was designed to use the shield rework, it will still play nicely without it.
hottt3 31 Jul, 2023 @ 6:18pm
Thanks for the mod! Yet I'm hesitant to install it: it uses [WotC] Shield Rework mod as a dependacy. And this mod mod modifies the original WotC Ballistic Shields mod which is the dependency for some classes like Hoplite ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2349597508 ). So, what will become of those classes? Will they also change their mechanics or be at all playable after installing [WotC] Shield Rework ?
And if I just don't install [WotC] Shield Rework mod, will this class be good to play?
Thanks again)

Sweet! Thank you for doing a proper LWOTC port, absolutely love this class.
Olchobhar 2 Jun, 2023 @ 6:02am
@FearTheBunnies Ah ok. Sorry about that. Let's check it out then. I am excited.
FearTheBunnies  [author] 2 Jun, 2023 @ 5:32am
@Olchobhar The life paid does not count against a Flawless mission since it is a cost and NOT damage taken.
Olchobhar 2 Jun, 2023 @ 2:35am
so, we say good bye to flawless Missions, when this Class is on mission? I am confused
CunningSTOX 1 Jun, 2023 @ 8:37pm
Awesome Mod! Thank you!
