Even if I meet all the requirements, the final stats for the baby are still random between the wild rhynio and the host dino. I'd like to ensure that the baby rhynio inherits the same wild points and mutations as the host dino bred specifically to be the sacrifice

@alfonsoantony_salinas Rhynio baby already has a certain chance percent to inherit the hosts stats.

Would it be possible to make a mod that changes the the baby rhynio's inherited stats? If I am gonna struggle with craving satisfaction, host size quality and egg quality, the least the game can do is that the rhynio inherit the same stats as the host dino

so, i got a 4th, it was male. i Brought it over to my base but put it in cryo and it still said male in it, but after throwing it out it was female. so cy are changing them to female

i looked at some footage i had and yeah, one of them became trans when i left and rejoined

@Godslayer4000 In the moment no. All mods about Rhynio are done only knowing his file path, he didn't release in the Dev Kit yet, which make which makes the stuff a lot harder than the normal way.

In other words, mods made for Rhynio, in the moment, are the famous pure guess.

can you make it so it breeds by just giving tamed ones the impregnate ability, that would make a lot more sense as from what ive seen these things are absurdly useful so like with reapers making an army should bring some sacrifice one way or another. to preserve the the current (and insanely unbalanced and less fun) breeding method you could just make that an ini option.

@Buster Sorry, but the purpose of this mod is only make Rhynio breedable.

Interesting idea, would be that the female lays the egg, and then you force feed it to a dino of your choice to complete the incubation, plus gain the stats from the host

Guys, I'm already working in something to make breed Rhynio viable, I think by the next days will update some sort of temporary solution, at least until Rhynio is released in Dev Kit and I discover how this Impregnation system works.

here is an idea for breeding, i really want rhynio to breed same way you can tame them, you sacrifice one of your dinos by putting the fertilized egg inside it, and the offspring emerges having a mutation based on the highest stat of sacrificed dino, or a percentage of stats, it will fit the bug aesthetic better and be true to the explorer note

@Monke Well, I tested it in Single Player only, and to me worked, as in the Screenshots above. The Rhynio in the 2nd screenshot is the offspring of the one in the 1st screenshot.

@miki All maps. This mod only enable the breeding to the vanilla Rhiniognatha, it doesn't add new spawn points.

How does this work exactly? offspring will only hatch as male so getting a female is impossible without using mods that switches the gender lol
