So I tried using this mod in a recent campaign. But I learned that even at 'very friendly', the raider factions are still hostile to XCOM on missions and shoot at my soldiers.

Is it possible to remove the mod mid-campaign? Nice concept, but doesn't really work. The missions to 'locate raider base' and 'destroy raider base' still spawn as well even when very friendly.

Is there a way to fully disable raider ambushes in the configs? I am encountering a bug where after a certain point in time in a campaign raider ambush missions cause a crash on loading, forcing me to abort the mission on reload. I tried setting the minimum and maximum chance of occurrence to 0 in the configs, but that seems to be only a partial fix as I'm still encountering some missions where the the chance is listed as minimal or moderate instead of countered.

"Raider capture" may need associated Rescue missions: it seems that Raider capture can occur against raider faction not yet in contact with Xcom. Since they are not in contact Xcom cannot initiate diplomatic relations nor get base assault missions.

Also, there needs to be a mechanism where covert operations for locating raider bases needs to be more numerous and show preference for hostile raider factions.

It seems that certain Mandalorian units that joins X-com squad cannot receive revival protocol treatment from Specialists.

@alena - I added support for that and add the sitrep to the config so that it counts them as killed soldiers.

I am actually curious, so in the SCP Foundation mod, there's a sitrep that entirely replaces ADVENT forces with the MTF units from that faction, if you are friendly with them, what sort of interaction would that cause? Would you still lose reputation for fighting them if they are technically in the "ADVENT" faction, or would you be able to have that specific sitrep be disabled if allied?

You can tweak the settings, but they all start at the same setting. And it’s only during the campaign start.

@HaziTru - The purpose of the mod is not to save every raider faction. You will make enemies of some factions and be able to ally with others. Sometimes You have to make the decision just take them out to avoid harming your own troops. Remember, these are wild raider factions that have no sense of Honor And want to take everything for themselves.

I really like the mod but it doesn't make sense. How am I supposed to save a faction when they are trying to kill me lol If they didn't attack the player unless hostile I think that would make more sense. They killed my soldiers while I was trying to save them.

Levels are cutoff at 45, 55, 65, 75, etc. for raider goods you only get access at the beginning of each month(after each supply drop) this will also be under raider management.

So at level 7 (does that mean relationship above 70 btw?), it states you can get "access to raider weapons and items for a cheap price".

How do you do that?

This only works for any faction that has a raider base. Mocx does not have a raider base.

This is interesting of a mod for raiders. Tho idk if Exalt would be even willing to talk to Xcom seeing how in the previous game they didn't want to. Probably will add them to the list of factions unable to negotiate on the ini file.

I'm unableto launch the covert actions to help the raider factions. I can fill up each slot as required but the confirm action button remains greyed out.

It could be random. Try changing the chance for them to join the mission to 100 percent and see of they show up. Some missions are excluded.

RedDobe, it seems that certain Raider Factions never seems to provide extra soldiers for the mission even after reaching the "Brotherhood" level. Phantoms, for example.

All of the bases are created when this mod and raider faction bases is installed. To answer your question, no.

You won’t know until you actually discover the faction. The relation level is on the raider management screen, and the geoscape.

@Rakkohug - I didn't change anything to do with that. The mod Raider Faction Bases controls where each faction sitrep spawns, and there is an increased chance on the faction's continent. You may have just experienced a string of random instances where another raider sitrep is selected on a different continent (which can happen). If you look at my change notes you can see what I added to the last update.

RedDobe, before the update, the encounters with Raider faction sitrep was largely commensurate with the area of control specific to that particular Raider faction. However, after the update, raider faction sitrep for the guerilla operations seems to be random, while missions associated with covert OPS (such as rescue mission) seems to be still specific to the zone of control. Is this intended?
