Shame he had to pull a Sayter and try to police how people experience his mods.
"This does contain the infamous anticheat for the time being, I may remove it along with some cleanup at a later date."
Would it be possible to make a patch so we can use both?
Because I would like to play as a human who didn't do the main quest or defeat the original ruin, but rather one who wants to avenge humanity and reconquer the earth, since the original hero didn't do that.
Speaking of which, I found another issue. After the first boss, I think my game gets stuck in one of those sequences because it is essentially locked. I cant progress any further. The game also doesnt read the mouse and keyboard anymore.
I'd Use this but I now have serious trust issues with it.
It's sad that i have to open every mod and examine it for malicious entries...
The reason this is the first version of the mod is because it's the only functional one which doesn't break the common monster behavior file. (Portal Mech broke some important stuff when trying to break the anticheat bypasser and didn't fix it)
The following is just repeated over-and-over:
1. ^white;
2. ^reset;
3. For the best user experience, admin mode has been restricted inside of all dungeons added by The Ruin's Legacy. Please do not attempt to use it, or you will be forcibly returned to your ship.
Note:
- I have to mind my disk space (laptop).
- I do not mind that this 'anti-cheat' is active in the mod (as long as it is only in the dungeons the mod adds).
