good luck, last i heard witch's had become defunk as well. maybe when keen stops breaking code I might be able redo this mod. but as of late i cannot even play the game wthout it crashing, even without mods,

Sorry seems there isnt anyone working on this. Didnt know Witch had quit on the game, though I cannot blame him. I seriously doubt I can get it back up and running,I'd more than likely would have to start from the very beginning and still never figured out Dx11 textures. Keen just keeps breaking their own code and we the modders have to clean it up. If I or you see another version of this mod out there post it here and I'll add it to the mod description. Thx I'm glad you enjoyed my mod.

thx Larry, but with the current state of the game as it is, I doubt it. Keen is phoning in the game now, history repeats as with Miner wars. Keen ha failed us

well that failed, yeah they fixed one of my problems, but not the other. I cannot open the G-menu without crashing the computer. I've had it I'm done.

alright. MSXML3 is usually installed with .NET but I've had mixed experiences with different OSes and versions of .NET having strange issues like some components not getting installed...

I did a test a couple days ago, I think when the rewrote the workshop code, they accidentaly fix my problem. I have done a major test yet. But, I do thank you. I'm going to try a major test soon I'll let you know

@PhantomX sounds like maybe .NET problems. Go through your add/remove programs list and remove anything that has .NET or VC++ or VB.NET in the name, then go to Microsoft's site and grab this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 , then MSXML as well: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15697

Win7 and HDD. I dont know if they have fixed my issue or not last time I played I managed to get some things going, but crashed when trying to open workshop from within the load blueprinits panel. Yes I tried moving to my smaller file storeage drive to test that. I just dont have the gumption to start modding this again, it still has all the same problems plus the Dx11 which I still havent learned yet. And most of the ideas I had have been already made or due to the "clone" method of modding I cannot do due to the limits the devs have on the game.

may i ask, what windows you have? what hard drive (hdd or ssd)? did you try to install to other folder?

I had the same issue before I learned to run Steam in admin mode, I asked Keen for help and got about 2 emails before they stopped responding entirely. All you can really do is ask for help on the forums and hope they can get it sorted. Or have a look at the error reports yourself and try to see what's going on. But I imagine you've already tried all that...

That has to be frustrating. Maybe they will get back to you eventually. Doesn't help in the meantime I know, Keen does seem to care about the community, don't give up hope. :)

The game runs fine and I have done that on many times. even uninstalling and deleting the appdata, files left behind in the folder. and it comes back each time. I have no clue Keen just refuses to talk to me I've tried for a year what more am I suppose to do

Hi PhantomX, sorry to hear you are still having these issues. In case you haven't tried this go to your library, right click on Space Engineers click on Properties, new window opens, then go to the Local Files Tab at the top of that window, then click on Verify Integrity of Game Cache. That helps fix a lot of folks issues. If you have done that and didnt work, not sure what could be going on. Wish I could help you out somehow.

no dark toes I crash within the game when I use the G-menu and try to load Blueprints, scripts and sometimes mods. and yes i have tried no mods/different mods and still same result. thanks for the help though

Random shot-in-the-dark here, but if your game is crashing as soon as you start it try running Steam in admin mode. That fixed mine.

atm, my game is broken and I cannot fix it, it has been that way for six months. I'm glad you loving these, look for the spirital succesor under Harag for a more up to date version. Thanks. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon?

These are amazing, I use them on two 2x2 patches on the nose of my exploration ship, makes chasing down NPC ships easy to salvage as i pretty much grip onto them automatically and do not have to worry about my main ship drifing away.
so the problem i found is that the autolock locks onto parts and when you try to loot those parts it crashes to desktop. did it three times.

Thx, If I can get the game to even work for me I might try to get this working. Keen has stopped helping ppl on the forums as of late. I cannot use the G-menu with mods as it crashes the computer. And blueprints dont work for me havent been for a year now. If I can get some tech support and get this fixed I might work on it since one of my friends has come back to modding for this game.

Shame that DX11 update is giving you so much grief. The one saving grace with these versus other mod blocks, though, is that they really only have one functional orientation, so one does not have to plant their face into the block to look for minute details when rotating.

nvm, that auto program doesnt work with my textures. I hand crafted the curent textures which the program doesnt work with the entire texture. Plus, when I get the bulk of it fixed it looks like cheap plastic, I still have other issues as well with the textures and models.

Any chance you can make these air tight as they work wonders for docking ships if placed around a doorway and no horrid bother with blocks merging into each other, now all thts needed is a flat connector tube, must look to see if there is one already :P

After using Jump Drive I have to Re-lock my Maglocks. When I use my Jump Drive to go from Station to Station the Maglocks will be unlocked when the ship stops. Just something to add to your check list before moving my ship.

You need to reduce the number of components used, each small maglock surface masses 1,881 kg. Connector attraction force increases with ship mass, so when I make a simple small ship and add a couple of maglocks, the extra mass increases connector pull so much I can't break off without switching the connector off entirely. Not to mention slowing the ship's acceleration dramatically.

As soon as I learn how to do them, I just learned how to do dx9. I'm working on it, I dont have as much time and pateniece as of late in rl to work on that but I'll get something done soon
