No. As stated in the mod description, I did not make tinted variants of the cosmetics.

Hmm odd issue, I love it btw and will continue to use it regardless. During dropoff for missions and returning to avenger there's some stretching texture thing sticking out of their knees that fixes itself once they stop moving. Not sure why.

The dark shading in headshots is an unfortunate side effect of using custom shaders. As far as I know, there is currently no way to rectify that. As for the pistol, I’m not quite sure what you mean.

There seems to be a problem with the skin as it generates a very dark image as a headshot. Also, the position of the pistol is wrong.

@Venere Glad you're enjoying the mod. The guy who commissioned me did not ask me to create a tint mask for the textures, so I do not plan on including them, as that would take quite a bit of unpaid time and effort. Sorry :(

@Jakuza Not to come off as rude or blunt, but no. As I stated in an earlier comment, I will not be porting anything from MW2019/22 or Cold War; at least not for free. Plus, I just don't like working with skimpy, non-military/tactical themed characters or outfits. It's just not my thing, and there are plenty of other modders who do that stuff.

Well, starting off I was exactly where you are now: I didn't know anything about modding and I had never touched Blender before in my life. That was last July. Modding outfits into XCOM 2 seemed like a really daunting task to me, but there were certain armors that I wanted badly enough to not deter me from trying. I basically just taught myself through lots and lots of trial and error until I finally figured out how to properly rig models to the X2 skeleton, set up textures in GIMP and compile all of the assets in the UDK. The process is more complex than that, but it's not something that can be explained in a single comment. I understand those feelings you're experiencing - I had them too, so if you'd like some advice or tips on how to get started, then you can message me on Discord or add me on Steam.

Nice, sorry to bother you with questions but how did you get started on modding armors for the game? I continuously get stuck and its a little demotivating because of how confused i get sometimes lol. First real experience with blender.

Hi November, I either extract them directly from their respective game(s) with a special tool or get them from discord servers which rip and upload assets from the various CoDs and other military shooters.

I'm not familiar with ghost templates, so that is not the case for when I port models with empty holsters. Most of the times I just leave it because it's part of the model, and I don't want to add/remove things that were or were not there originally. Often times the holster is attached to the model instead of being its own separate entity, and trying to remove it would cause a hole to appear in the mesh or reveal an unfinished part of the texture which the holster covered. Overall, an empty holster has never been something that has bothered me, so I tend to just leave the model as-is.

Thank you for the response. (Not to beat a dead horse of a quesiton further, but...) Are you porting it as is, i.e. with the holster, to allow people to use ghost templates? I guess what I'm driving at is why people do not remove those empty holsters. I see some outfit mods where the modder includes the weapon inthe holster as a cosmetic choice (i.e. not as a usable item/ ghost template), others keeping the holsters empty,.. and then my own idea would have been to kill the holster altogether at least in some of the outfits, for example those I would like to use with a different torso option which would overlap with the holster.

Again, this is not refering to this present outfit per se, I'm just grabbing the opportunity to have a brief chat with someone who mods extensively.

You can use [WOTC] XSkin by Iridar to use a skin of a pistol that fits perfectly in the slot.

Hey, thanks for the question. That is simply the way the model came. Since sidearms in XCOM 2 are attached to a fixed position on the right hip, there really isn't a way to make a gun go into a holster on a model, unless you perfectly line it up. It's just there for cosmetic purposes.

Can I ask a naive question? (I am not a modder, so I am not sure why this would be so.) Why would one have an empty pistol holster, seeing as the pistols in the game (e.g. for the sharpshooters) do not fit there or are not placed in the same area the holster is in?

Is there some mysterious way to put a pistol in from one of the gun mods here?
