wow, this completely subverted my expectations. he feels really nice, though I need to figure out the puppet aspects. even just his base movement and normals feel great to throw out and hitfall. his design and name are very clever. would be a great new take on the rivals lore if he got in!!

Happy to see that this character is now being entered in the contest! Have you considered adding anything for the lore/writing part of the contest? The character doesn't quite fit neatly into Aether as things are, but I think that could be worked around with a bit of writing and tweaking.

Either way, I'm rooting for this one so far. Easily my favorite of the entrants I've seen.

I think the only thing that might make this lose is that Mako here doesn't have a clear element to fit the theme of the game unless you say water since he's a shark.

This is definitely a runner up for my favorite in the contest. Depending on how the others turn out this one might just be my favorite

Mako is such a cool character and it would add a totally new type of fighter to ROA! Your take on a puppet master is so cool and functions so well! Mako is a fantastic character and I would love to see him get added to Rivals!

I'll be patching Mako soon, to add and fix a bunch of stuff.
In the meantime @Combine Soldier, It was recently added the function to double tap the c-stick for an attack to come out for the skeleton, the reason to be like that is that we don't want the skeleton always needing to attack when Mako attacks. So far Tilt stick users approved, tell me your experience when you can.

The skeleton doesn't seem to follow the right stick when bound to attack so if you could fix that it'd be great
