If anyone is interested I have updated this mod to work with DX11. You can find it by either searching the workshop for "gamma clouds", or with this direct link: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=744387765

It would be nice if the author could update the skybox texture for DX11.

However, I don't think he's playing SE anymore.

Okay, obviosly that's not a file path you guys posted down below, so how cna "I" fix this with being able to edit .SBC files? The skybox does NOT work, it's all black, like that episode of Voyager!

Hopefully this can be sorted as I really like this skybox

it is simple...open \Data\Environment.sbc, locate <EnvironmentTexture> thats the link to the file and add the extension .dds....done....5 mins work
if he doesnt want to keep it alive, he should think of asking someone to keep it alive

I'm not experienced in modding, but I opened the .sbm for this but couldn't find a quick logical reason why it's no longer working since last week. I did a comparison with a working skybox without success. Is Execflood no longer online? Perhaps an experienced modder could take a quick look.

looks like KEEN "upgraded" a mod-warning into an error today...any chance to fix that by adding ".dds" to the texture reference?
<EnvironmentTexture>Textures\BackgroundCube\Final\SomeGammaCloudsSkybox.dds</EnvironmentTexture>

That just looks like Gallente Space background in EVE Online. Is it actually that, or is Gallente Space based on another astronomical phenomina?
