love it so much it is my favorite skin mod

I really like this skin but the road is transparent and so the background shows through it so it makes it difficult to see my blocks and what's going on during faster moments so it's not useable for me. Can the road be back black?

i said only for those that only play on that version of the game.

@kaight no need for that xd, i have the recent & the old version of the game installed just in case a new/updated skin doesnt work :).

I will attempt to fix this. For the time being, I can send a copy of an earlier version of the skin.

For those (like me) playing on the branch "beforevideosurf", the skin will not work.

This truly, in my opinion, is the best skin ever made for Audiosurf 2. I will refuse to play any other skin now. It's simple in the best way possible. Thanks Kaight for making this track.

In the skin's Lua file you need to change "track_colors_index" in the line
track_colors = track_colors_choices[track_colors_index]
to a number corresponding to the array of color palettes.

So I believe track_colors = track_colors_choices[1] would generate the Waltz palette, for example.

Unfortunately I don't believe there is a simple way to change the color palette while in game, sorry. I hope this helps!

Ah, yeah I set a timer to take screenshots every ten seconds during the recording. It was built into the software.

But how did you take them at the exact same spot? Did you set a timer, or did you just spam the button around the right spot?

@Nixel, I played the same song 5 times but changed the color palette I was using each time.

How did you take multiple screenshots in the exact same spot?

This is the most gorgeus skin I have ever tried in Audiosurf 2!

One already exists. It's labeled The Hyperdrive Series.
Granted, I haven't kept it updated so it doesn't have this year's changes.

I absolutely love this skin! Out of curiousity, do you have any plans to create a version of this that implements using the album cover colors for those who want that?

At least make it change colours like everything else.

But can you tell me why you hate it so much? I personally prefer it to the old form quite a bit. Saying it's large isn't incorrect, however, it's clear and you can see through it and it still isn't much larger than everything else. I would consider the old one much more confusing because it was hovering quite a bit above the track and had a mirror of itself below the track.

Ah. What you're seeing is the debris. I think I made it slightly stronger to compesate for making it harder to see. If you're on Medium or Low settings, the effects of those are probably larger than for other people. The actual size of the powerup is only slightly larger than the other blocks (around the same size as the one before).

Mind taking a screenshot of the powerups since what you're describing is not their intended look. The regular color blocks are likely correct since it was a temporary fix to a bug that caused the color blocks to appear brighter than they should have and it looked outright disgusting.

This is broken for me. Used to work really well then stopped working for no reason. The multiplier thingies are just HUGE spheres covered in white dots, and all other blocks are covered in a gross outline instead of the usual white outline. Tried reinstalling the entire game. Did nothing.

Nevermind, I fixed it by replacing your blocks by the updated blocks from the classic skin. I didn't modify the power blocks though. :D

It appears to be a Mac problem. I downloaded the live file just in case and didn't have the same problem. This also means I don't really have any way to correct the problem except through luck. so I appologize. I hope it is fixed in some way soon.

That skin is really nice, but I've got a little problem with it.
The background is fine, and so are the spikes, but the blocks are pink ! How can I fix it , and could you please fix it if it's a glitch ? Thanks.

P.S. : I'm using a Mac, but don't judge me cause I don't have a Windows computer (don't want to use the term PC) :)

Hi I'm superfan of your amazing rainbowdrive skin. But in this REWORKED version, I think the climax color is changed from red-black to skyblue. I'm so sad about the change. Stronger blur effect is good but EXTREMELY INTENSE experience with RED-BLACK climax is gone...

so I'm using your TEMPORARY version of rainbowdrive. 'Contact - DAFT PUNK' may show you what is different between TEMPORARY Ver. and REWORKED Ver. Especially in the climax of the song. Peak of the song with TEMPORARY ver. is really really F* AWESOME.

I like your rainbowdrive REWORKED skin. but with red-black climax color, I would love your skin.

I really love this skin and all of the other "drive" skins. However with the new update for the full release of the game changed how Anti-Aliasing works. All of the drive skins are pretty much broken. The Anti-Aliasing mode doesnt apply to the "drive" skins making them a pixelated mess of poop. Not even my video card software can overwrite the game's Aliasing mode. These skins are unplayable to me now.

This was my favourite skin back in the early access, but ever since the full game was released it hasn't been the same, the grid is a lot more flashy, anyone else notice the same thing?

I wish its was a bit more smoother for slower computers because i can run it on 25 fps untell i lower the graphics down to lowest but not mid (that is my recomanded setting) but it still good :3
