I have made a version that does work fully, with some minor exceptions like hoplites weird formation, but very minor stuff :)

Fixed issue with some animations becoming static.
There will be no more updates.

it was a while back, the author has done some shady things in the past. but there has been no talk about such things about his new mods......maybe he stopped doing such things, but i still don't trust mods that come with a paypal link attached. mods such as Rome HD series mods were done for free for the community without a single dime asked in return

Fights seem more fierce and chaotic... but "The Day of the Kneeling Dead"? That, and the men fighting invisible warriors certainly makes this an odd one!

This mod is not compatible with Divide et Impera. Formations like "phalanx" and "flying wedge" are broken, not to mention that some abilities like "repel cavalry" are duplicated. In the first case, soldiers start shaking their spears with broken animation, and after about 10 seconds the phalanx formation is canceled. (In and out of combat) In the second case, the riders start running chaotically from side to side, and the horses lose their running animation. And that's just what I managed to see at the beginning of the game.
And yes, I'm subscribed to the required mods and put this mod at the very top in the launcher.

Hi, I have the mod on the top of the load order and my hoplites only stay in hoplite formation for a few seconds waving their spears and then they go back to normal meaning they die from a cavalry charge within seconds wheras the pikeman work normally (I am using DEI btw)

sorry to be pain with this but its making hoplites pointless to use and easy to play against as the AI hoplites are just losing battles they should be winning or at least putting a better fight of it

i got the mod second from top above dei 1.2. and 3 the only mod above it is Tovtatis: Next Generation Campaign Maps (Final Version) and the only mod i got active that effects animations is Catvrix: Next Generation Effects (Final Version) which is just below this mod on my mod list, the shield bearer (hoplite) for Macedon doesn't form phalanx, you click on the button to active it and they wave there spears in the air for a tiny a bit then they just stand there with their spears still up instead of holding down the spear pointing towards the enemy

I understand, you should put my mod above DEI and not have any other mod that modifies animations.

sorry i didn't explain the bug correctly but basically with this mod active with dei, hoplites will not form phalanx when clicking on the button do so, where as pikeman do form phalanx, i did a custom battle defending a fort with a couple of units from Macedon using bronze shield pike and a Hypaspistal agematos (shield bearer) against some cavalry from Arverni, i found that the bronze shield pike would be in a phalanx and easily repel the cavalry charge,where as the shield bearer would get torn shreds as they would not form phalanx, the bug only seems too effect hoplites

It is impossible to have a constant animation for a phalanx of that type, the game does not allow it. But it is solved only by making the unit walk a few centimeters.

hi, im really enjoying your mod and finding the AI a lot more challenging to play against, but i have found a annoying bug caused by this mod on dei in that the garrison units like the Greek hoplites and any other phalanx will keep coming out of phalanx after 15-20 seconds by them self's its like there is a cool-down on the phalanx and it is making the Greek garrisons unusable and very easy to play against

Did i read it right? the Parabellum Mod from Avemetal is compatible with this Mod right? probably have to set this mod on top of Parabellum right? because Parabellum has its own combat mod :rome:

I designed this mod so that you can add other mods that add longer battles, change statistics and so on, the only thing you can't change are the animations.

This was actually very easy to do thanks to the discord community. They made me a list of all the specific errors and I was able to fix them pretty quickly.
