Love what your doing here and it really adds a new dynamic to the game! I am no modder by any means but I do have a question/request or two. 1.) Would it be possible to set the DMG to ships based off gravity vs. height? 2.) Would it be possible to bypass the saved speed limit so as gravitational pull increases, the speed of the vehicle/person increases (past the servers set values)? This would prevent people from simply saving their ship to Quantum Hangar if they get sucked into a blackhole for example. Just curious. And thx again, I appreciate your work!

Ok, thank you for the response!
Chipstix213  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 12:45am
Not as this time. Just the amount of damage per program cycle.
Aer0Whiskers 26 Dec, 2024 @ 10:46pm
Is it possible to adjust the cycle time?

Ex. Changing damage taken to 1 second vs taking damage every 10 seconds

There could be if I actually implemented emp effects
Demaros 4 Dec, 2024 @ 4:25pm
hey mate I have 2 questions for ya:
1) How does the AtmoGridEffects work in relations to the EMP effects, does it just randomly turn off blocks while flying through the atmo or is it something else?
3) Is there any way to tie the EMP effects to the weather type, i.e a thunder storm?

Best guess you're actually attributing the scripts from other mods as being from here. The only one I know is using this is the black hole
Taeleus 8 Oct, 2024 @ 10:09pm
As far as server config, I subbed to all the mods, enabled all the important ones, used star system generator /ssg commands, played with it a bunch, punched in all my settings in a datapad then ran /ssg readdatapad and bam. it makes a system. Only thing I did after that was went and setup the planetary asteroid rings using /ringast then tweaked the black holes gravity falloff
Taeleus 8 Oct, 2024 @ 9:09pm
Im running like 185 mods with several of the planets including the colossal black hole mod. I believe alot of the planets have it configured (I flew to them, spawned in a ship and watched it go boom basically, but I think only Aphus or Bylen actually give a red text warning. If there is anything you want me to provide that could help feel free to let me know! Im still working on the server so theres no player data on it other than mine.
Chipstix213  [author] 6 Oct, 2024 @ 12:11pm
for this beta its supposed to be per planet as the designer intended.

have you configured those planets to use this?

i'd like some feedback on possible server config as that's part of the next update.
Taeleus 6 Oct, 2024 @ 12:06am
A few things. Firstoff, LOVE the mod and the idea behind it

Second, on my server this seems to only work right on Aphus, Bylen and Luma. Get a big red warning text telling me I should leave, them bam. Ship damage. Pretty neat! I was wondering if there was any setting on our end that we can adjust these zones with to make them larger or smaller? Or is that a per-planet mod kind of thing?
Chipstix213  [author] 30 Jul, 2024 @ 12:34pm
Mostly because it's a dependency and a test. I'm talking to modders about it on discord they then add this as dependency when the beta is closed I'll do a proper description.

The mod adds hazards to planets. Could be damaging weather could be deadly voxels or everything
Klous 30 Jul, 2024 @ 11:14am
You don't say what this or the example mod even does. You should update your description of what this is.
Chipstix213  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 7:11am
Depencies should not require the user to do anything if you're using it he black holes nmod all you need to do is add this to the save. The modder has done everything else
Malpherian 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:32am
I am interested in Modding but the reason for the info is that several mods require this one. So I am trying to figure it out so I can use their mod.

Ie there is a Black hole mod I like and a planet Mod which have Your Environmental Mod here as a requirement.

So I am trying to figure out how to literally just install it so it will work in my Survival game, with the planet and Black hole mod from the other Modder.
Chipstix213  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:28am
If you're interested in modding there are a couple of discords I can recommend with lots of support
Chipstix213  [author] 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:25am
Not quite, subscribe to this.
reference the example as an example.
You make your modded planet in the usual way then from step 3
Malpherian 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:07am
1. So download this,
2. Download the Planet example,
3. Edit the SBC with what you have posted here adding it to the end of the SBC file
4. Load this Mod above the Example mod in the load order.
5. Start the game

??? Is that correct?

Also thanks for the help.
Chipstix213  [author] 4 Jul, 2024 @ 11:19pm
Specifically I should say if you familiar with how space engineers modding works this is straightforward
Chipstix213  [author] 4 Jul, 2024 @ 11:18pm
Nothing from GitHub is needed. All the modder needs is follow the example.

add the extra section to the SBC, include the txt file for the API to know where to look and set this mod as dependency.

The idea is to simplify and stop duplicates of old scripts
Malpherian 4 Jul, 2024 @ 6:10pm
I'm basically curious exactly how to get it to work as there seems to be several parts (at least 3), The steam download, The Gethub Link, and the Example planet and SBC files etc.

I am not a space engineers Modder, so how all that goes together is a bit confusing as far as how to make it work.

Unless I am missing something.
Chipstix213  [author] 4 Jul, 2024 @ 11:32am
I'll have something more for the final version. The example mod should help.
Anything particular part causing you problems?
Malpherian 4 Jul, 2024 @ 6:34am
A step by step installation instruction would be helpful. Seems complicated.
Chipstix213  [author] 30 Nov, 2023 @ 6:41am
😅 It had better stay stable then
Gnat The Gnome 29 Nov, 2023 @ 11:44pm
This framework is a core part of the modpack that is about to be featured in Season 5 of Kanajashi's youtube channel.
Chipstix213  [author] 18 Nov, 2023 @ 9:47am
We will have to see how it holds up to testing then I'll push a new version in new year
chrishoule1366 17 Nov, 2023 @ 5:17pm
i like it Picasso
Chipstix213  [author] 4 Nov, 2023 @ 9:17am
A dependency you can add to planet mods that creates damage from environmental hazards.
chrishoule1366 4 Nov, 2023 @ 7:31am
whats dis?
Chipstix213  [author] 11 Oct, 2023 @ 5:51am
With more testing I hope so. 😉

Nice, looks really promising
