Well... it kinda works with Odyssey right now. Just make sure you have plenty of floor around DSU so you can catch it when it spill...

@SaufTirola yeah, it's possible. Not a conflict, just need to be adapted to new vanilla mechanics. Unfortunately, i have not Odyssey yet. I'll fix this issue later.

Hey, i dont know if the mod is buggy or if its a mod conflict, but i've noticed that if you have a DSU on a gravship and land, all the contents get spilled around

it doesn't look like anyone else has brought it up yet and I hate to be that guy, but is this getting an update to 1.6? this is the most convenient storage mod I've ever seen, you do excellent work, and I hate beginning games without it

It looks like an incompatibility with one of the mods. I've encountered a similar issue on my list, but fixed it in one of the updates. The errors from your log are not related to this mod.
I don't have the opportunity to test every mod from your list.

I ended up mitigating the issue by using a stockpile around an input bus for inputting items, but directly inserting items seems to be intended as an option, but it is very unreliable for me.

Moving an input bus with the radius set to include adjacent tiles onto stockpiles, so that items in the existing stockpile get sucked in seems to get it un-stuck for a minute or two, then it locks up again.

My DSU seems to be frequently considered to be "full", even when it is nearly empty. I have plenty of power, but even when set to critical for all items, pawns will not put items into it after a few stacks. I rarely manage to get more than 10-15 stacks in it, and have never gotten above 33. Is this a known issue or some sort of mod incompatibility?

it seems that none of the items are in my architect tab, other than the DSU access point.

Small update: Rimfeller patch: Input buses now can be used as Refinery unloading bay - refinery will store the products to ajacent Input bus.

To anyone who uses this and ranged shield belt tiers mod, this is in the same spot as the ranged shield belt tiers mod and they overlap in the research tree. You can still click on the ranged shield belt research but not this one.

Did not tested a lot, just few sessions - vanilla and HSK, looks everything works.

It's been almost a year since the author replied about being short of time to update this mod, so I thought I'd ask - I know you said you don't like "continued" versions, but Mlie is willing to consider a continuation of this mod with permission to update. Any chance you'd be open to that?

FYI, this mod was based on the storage unit in Project RimFactory Revived. That mod has been updated to 1.5 and has the storage unit still.

Load the original Rimfactory mod, and use the mod called "RIMMSqol" to get rid of the required materials, required research and optionally the work amount of the following buildings: Digital Storage Unit, Refrigerated Storage Unit, I/O Port, Advanced I/O Port

Then you can just use the Digital Storage Unit, and RimFactory has no performance impact as long as you don't spam stuff from it

And to be clear about what's happening, basically it'll accept more items than 9 stacks, but some items will just, for want of a better term, 'tumble out' out of the storage unit and land on the floor outside the unit. I'm able to adjust and fix the fridge version of it in DS/AS settings, but not the normal RFR one.

Yeah the reason I was trying to use DSU over RFR was because RFR currently isn't playing nice with adaptive or deep storage, I forget which. :(

The continued version was the biggest and only offender to my game's performance, I had 14 fps and 20 fps while using it, getting rid of the mod got me up to 60 FPS and 300-360 TPS, also known as nearly perfect performance.

An annoying problem with the continued version being removed is that it was actually completely safe to have both it and rimfactory loaded, which I did, then moved stuff from the bad DSU with data extenders to the good DSU, then got rid of the continued version of this mod, and now my game runs perfectly fine. But if the continued mod is completely gone, then that might screw over anyone that used it in their playthroughs, since destroying the DSU gets rid of all the items inside of it, and I don't know if removing the mod while there are items inside of the bad DSU will erase all your items or drop them on the floor.

@Meyar It was removed from the workshop after I found and reported that it OBLITERATES performance. Every single data extender from the continued version purges your FPS and TPS. I don't know if the problem exists in this version, but in Project: Rimfactory Revived, there's no problem, and in it there are no data extenders since you can place as many DSUs as you want just like shelves. You probably only want to use the Digital Storage Unit too, so use the mod called "RIMMSqol" to get rid of the required materials, required research and optionally the work amount of the following buildings: Digital Storage Unit, Refrigerated Storage Unit, I/O Port, Advanced I/O Port

I heard that one of the cool guys made an updated version for 1.5 and re-uploaded it. I do not know when I will be able to start updating, I am sorely short of time.
