@GC72: Can you please tell me if you loaded these BY THEMSELVES and got the crash? Because the only crash that I have ever had was when loading my Radious HD Texture mod without Radious' mods. Also, unless CA removed a model, I don't see how this could crash (mind you, I have absolutely zero programming knowledge so its probably obvious as to what the problem is).

Of course bro! I knew the guy who helped you learn this and I know how much goes into it. I actually paid him separately to bring the HD Lizardmen lmao I hope you keep going with the DLCs you do amazing just like him

@Nlikely: Because I had gone through all the base_colour, normal, and material_map.dds files and checked if there were any that I had missed since the past two updates. Since there was nothing that needed to be updated, and I couldn't update something that had not been edited, I decided to just edit the description. Nothing has been changed because nothing needed to be changed as there were no new textures added specifically to the Chaos Warriors (Separate from Daemons of Chaos).

I am looking into going back through all of my texture mods and redoing some of the texture work since my process is a bit different and stops a lot of the artefacting that plagued some of my current upscales, as well as adding in the upscaled material_map.dds files so that at certain angles, you don't get these weird pixelated reflections on units.

@Sfero: Please let me know which mod manager you use, as I currently use the default Total War manager, as dogshit as it is.

I need to know which one because I need to be able to try and see if I can reproduce the error. For now, I would suggest you bring this issue to the person who develops the mod manager, or get into contact with someone who does use your mod manager to see what the problem is, as this mod is incapable of creating issues with a mod manager as neither contains or edits and files that are mod manager specific.

@ColourlessAmoeba Hi, I need help. Im trying to set this mod on first load order but I can't. I use a mod manager (the only one). When I put "1" on the load, it goes to "265" or something like that. Help pls :(

@Incata, Absolutely. As to when, I have no idea, probably not until the new year; however, I'll get around to it eventually. I'm a big believer in crisp, high resolution textures make up for 80% of any work. I don't care about polygon count as long as the textures placed on the model are fantastic.

The modelling on these units in Warhammer is fantastic, but some of the texturing work is absolute dogshit.

On the other hand, regarding your second comment, I have a fairly powerful PC with an rx7900xt, the only difference I notice with its mods is in the game loading times (mvme 3500, 32gb ram), in terms of performance or other factors, I didn't notice a difference.

To anyone asking, I have a 7900 XTX graphics card, a 7950X processor, and 128 Gb of RAM. By all means, a commercial super computer. Something that is not expected for a large majority of Steam users and useless to test things with relative to the average Steam user. I have not experienced any loading time issues or any other issue in terms of stability or usability; however, due to my position, you have to take what I say with a grain of salt because I cannot speak with any authority on whether my mods affect the game in a large capacity. Considering the sheer size that these mods are (Steam says 3Gb, but this mod easily reaches around 15 - 30 Gb big, I assume that Steam shows the compressed size, not the actual), I feel that it is safe to assume that it will have some affect on how your game functions, I am just unable to authoritatively answer any questions regarding this due to what I am using.

@Incata, the textures themselves shouldn't take too long. The sheer amount that I had to do for these factions was the real issue with this. The textures may be numerous but not tedious.

@Edeinawc, those textures are designated as portholes. When you see any texture or any file referencing "porthole", they are talking about the little textures used in the bottom left of your UI when selecting a character and their face popping up. I have not edited these mainly because I had finished about half of the factions before I remembered about the porthole and was not enthusiastic to go back and essentially recompile all the previous files.

Hey there, I'm curious. Why is it that the textures when you go to the Lord/Hero screen still look like absolute ass? Do they draw from different models? Archaon looks amazing in battle and in the map, but I click on him it still looks like vanilla. Is there a way to change this?

@ColourlessAmoeba Talk about being the same mind set as me. I legit dislike the idea of adding unknown or to many rando's. Which I agree with you. Yet the work you've done and the disciplined it require to do all this grind for the work of other. Is legit legendary and more of player mindset. Willing to break my own rule for that.

No worries! Just to reiterate. What you see here, despite whatever units may not be applicable to this race's roster, is what you will get from this mod. It does affect mods substantially; insofar as those mods using Vanilla textures.

The tzaangors are from Radious I believe. I had made a mistake and forgot to disable the mod and genuinely believed they were native to the WoC roster. They are there, and I do have a HD Texture mod dedicated to Radious itself, and another dedicated to other smaller mods, I just haven't made thumbnails for them yet. What you see in the image for the tzaangor is what you will get with THIS mod, but please do not assume this extends to other units from Radious.
