i think ive seen everything new and nok, let me ask you something... we've talked about this in the past and i doubt you remenber it but, could you re-add inferno kicks super (if you even still have the file or smth idk how it works)?
flaming hell was lame anyways but inferno kicks had a really cool animation.

Personally, I relied too much on the homing properties of the fireball. Shin Goren isn't for me anymore.

Great character! But... Why he deaks fixed dmg? I LOVE making long ass sick fights, with setting dmg multi on 0.5 percent, and his damage isn't scaling at all (or scaling poorly), albeit, maybe it just seems to me (punch deals only 50 dmg on 0.5 multi, while ordinary Goren's sweep deals whopping 400! (around this number). Ordinary Goren gains damn buff for 50% dmg when paired against Shin Goren? Or what? If it's the case, then sorry for a fuckass question:zagpls::zagpls::zagpls:

I think you took a step in the wrong direction with the changes to his supers and the projectiles. making them turn unparriable after a while is painful and dumb, especially since their hitboxes don't come out until WAAAY later in the projectile's life. if you're supposed to be able to parry them, it should be always parriable. if not, make it not.
Furthermore, the two projectile supers do NOT apply much pressure at all unless you are in their face as they are getting up... which at best gives you a blockstring with minimal reward for the meter spent, or a combo if they try to evade wrong or derp out. At worst, it turns into pushblock heaven and LAUNCHES you across the stage for the crime of multihit projectile.
In short, revert shredder changes bare minimum, maybe make the super projectiles have block advantage attached, and in-general give him some more love.

Now, in a game like YOMI where mobility is King, that's trouble. He may have all of Akuma's strengths, but is limited by the game's design, which makes applying his gameplay tougher, hence, he needs stronger ways of closing that gap.

Although side note, I love that you're taking criticism properly, and I like that you already have a plan for Shin Goren. Been contemplating on pocket-picking him, but I'm turned off by him being weaker than Goren in a lot of things. Looking forward to the update

And that is the problem that I see. He can't exactly apply pressure with fireballs to follow up alongside it(basically covering your approach) if he can't approach as good as Goren, who's, on paper, more defensive. In a game like SF, maneuverability is not as important as it is in YOMI, so even without a projectile, someone like Cammy can rush in, but Akuma's(Shin Goren's obvious inspiration) pressure comes from his mix-ups, dmg, and frame adv, and he relies on his fireballs to rush in.

fireballs - these are ENTIRELY being changed. the purpose of shin goren having fireballs is not to zone like goren, but to apply pressure e.g. by following after them or beating out opposing projectiles. that will be a stronger point after the update if its not that feasible now

mobility- dash option that can travel in the air, dodge with shorter IASA than normal, trigger, height, downfall (naturally safer when free cancelled). i guess it might not be as much as goren's wild mobility but i feel is definitely adequate for shin. though i might give him a superjump

(also changing demon step too but i havent got its function figured out in my head yet)

Shin Goren does not have these maneuverability options, but his standing dash and Demon Step(if you have meter) are good at closer ranges, but basically don't matter in the range they're good at anymore. Using dropkick to try and jump out of projectiles and closing the gap leaves him open, his Shoryuken having less variability than Goren hurts him too.

i can see Goren being a rushdown character, but those sawblades are too good, which makes his zoning potential crazy. Shin Goren basically being an aggressive Shoto(Akuma) but with less maneverability and mobility options AND a worse fireball makes rushing down more dangerous.

I kinda beg to differ. Shin Goren has limited maneuverability to close gaps unlike Goren, which makes him even more reliant on those fireballs. Maybe make his fireball track more. It wouldn't hurt since his fireball is gone once it hits the ground or a wall, unlike Goren.

With Goren, you got Two-Tussle, Height, Rush(if you have meter), Weave, Super Jump, normal jump, and Chase Dodge. You can easily maneuver in the air with these moves, making gap closing safer.

goren and shin goren are drastically different characters so their projectiles will be different. shin goren has far less dependency on his projectiles

Really, really good. Only problem is Goren's sawblades are far better and can be fired more often, and lacks frame variations imo. needs slower moves for close distance exchanges, and maybe one more 4-5 frame attack. it's real easy to defend against him cuz of it.

@Dim - i have a partial rework in progress, but its taking some time to do.

@Tobishroom - 10% less damage in return for everything hit cancelling, opening up new combo possibilities

@SukunaTFO - what do you mean "auto hits" and "can't be blocked"? his only unblockable move is his 6 bar super, and that can be grab teched
