Searchable menus will ask to replace almost every menu and if you pick something and regret it you can’t change it back for that particular menu because it’s china brained dev decided it didn’t need to expose its settings and state.

I only just realised I had this installed. There's another mod called "Searchable Menus" that does pretty much the same thing except it does it in the Giant Block Menu with a single Search Bar in the Top Left.

Mlie it doesn't actually work. Typing in the search bar doesnt filter anything

I haven't updated this for 1.6 explicitly but I'll recompile and push an update out that should clear up any problems caused by the game updating

It doesn't work on macOS even when using the Harmony for Apple Silicon since Rimworld now runs ARM directly. Typing in the search bar does nothing.

This mod still works perfectly in 1.6. Please update it so it doesn't have the warning symbol in the mod list because this mod is exactly what the scenario editor needs.

For some reason when I search it doesn't pull anything up. The search bar is there but it doesn't show any items. Am I doing something wrong? I just type it in and hit enter.

i can update it to 1.5, its just a patch and a few textures so it should just be as easy as changing the number on the file to 1.5, give me a sec

Just confirmed this can work in 1.5 without updating, still it's better to have the 1.5 tag in the workshop

If anyone else is struggling to figure out how it works: the Search box in Scenario entries, won't do anything on its own. But if you type something in it, and then hit the button to change that item, it will populate items that match the search parameters.

Example: You want to add a specific shotgun. So you add a "Start With". Before clicking the button, you'd type "shotgun" (or whatever the actual weapon has in the name), and THEN hit the button. It will now show only items that contain the text in your Search box; so in this example, anything with the word "shotgun" in it would show up in the list.

Took me a minute to figure out, but I'm also kinda dumb. Hope this helps someone else too!

How hard would it be to add the same search bar to the create incidents list? I see it on the disable list, but not the create one.

Nice solution. I've grumbled at the same problem more than once.

I'll never understand why so many devs seem to be pathologically incapable of locating the "sort" method, which would have made this whole situation much more manageable in the first place.
