the idolization of the 50s-60s as a technology-less era is weird and straight up wrong, computers and nuclear bombs both co-existed and many issues seen as modern existed already, the 50s and 60s were pretty technologically advanced, the 60s had good menswear but the architecture wasn't as good as like, the 70s, in the 70s houses had a bit more detail as we entered postmodernism
