Attention to all, mod is currently not working. I believe there is an updated one on Nexus. If you don't like Nexus then you must play without the mod.

Tried playing after taking a break since the last update.
Wanted to wait for mods to catch up.
Only this one is causing a crash for me, after a battle.
Is this going to be updated?
I don't want to use nexus mods, prefer the workshop.

Hey @Penta thanks for the recommendation for other people, i just checked it out looks like an awesome mod that kind of does what distinguished service does and a bit more working for 1.2.8. I definitely recommend people go check that mod out on nexusmods

check out Mav's Expand Your Clan on nexus. Basically makes this mod obsolete. If anything give the description a read. Very good replacement for this one.

worked for me in the past. No longer working. With 1.1.5 it crashes after selecting a troop. on 1.1.6 it doesnt even occur after a battle

Any way to make the promoted soldiers not always default to the first gear set? Some diversity would be cool. I checked Nexus too and didnt see anything.

similar note to my second comment, i noticed when promoting someone with calradian culture to be a lady my game instacrashed. might be related to urs @owonion

I noticed when I recruited a sword sister that her culture was "calradian" despite that not being one of the cultures in the game. Is that intentional?

@SecretAgent if they get a certain amount of kills in a battle (5 for infantry, 6 for cav, 7 for archers iirc) then you will get a prompt when the battle ends. Will happen when the soldiers all start cheering while still on the battle map. Also, there are 3 upgrades for each of the ability thingies which i did not notice at first

minimum -1 means troop has to be max level, max tier threshold aka 6 or whatever max is means troop has to be that tier to get the option, if you want any tier at any amount of kills, change tier to 0 and kill threshold to 1.

I added this in onto a fresh reinstall, only mod loaded, version 1.1.6, and crashed when selecting troops to promote.

First of all thx for the mod its really cool, i found an error maybe just me, but it happens when i ant to promote one of my custom unit to a Lord with castle, there is an issue with a random banner connecting to him or something like this and crashing the game. its working with regular companions what i can hire. thx again for the mod!
