i find it strange how the proxy tool for real solar systems released last year
and yet, nobody tried to make a proxy for this planet, it's crazy honestly seeing as how this planet is really quite good

don't ask me for one, i don't have the required tools nor the experience required to make a planet proxy

repost to clarify what the proxy tool is for
2x because i forgot to add 1 single word(1 word changes everything lol)

To be clear, I did surmise that the outcrops are meant to be found in the glowy biome, but it seems odd that nearly all of these areas will be devoid of the crystals, while a few small crevices have them in abundance, with seemingly no visual distinction.

How does the spawning of the Penumbrite crystals work? Sometimes I spawn the planet and the crystals appear; sometimes they don't show up anywhere. Even in a default Star System with this as the only mod, it's been very inconsistent.

crashes game with new world

Is the uranium just anywhere on the planet, or does it spawn in specific locations? I'm having trouble finding it
Grebanton1234 15 May, 2024 @ 5:26am
Thank you!

@Grebanton1234 Absolutely go ahead, just if you decide to change the visibility, don't forget to link to the original mod.
Grebanton1234 9 May, 2024 @ 12:13pm
Hi, I was wondering if I was allowed to make an unlisted reupload of this mod for a scenario I'm making? I'm wanting to override some vanilla voxels with your voxels in order to save some space for more voxel definitions.

Yes, but only in really deep parts, maybe I'll add stone in certain ore patches as well
zakus 14 Jan, 2024 @ 5:51am
does the planet have stone now?
Gaz  [author] 13 Jan, 2024 @ 10:22pm
I will update it soon to have a rocky core layer ~200m deep
Mark 13 Jan, 2024 @ 5:38pm
THERES NO STONE I KEEP DIGGING AND I CANT FIND STONE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE LET ME FIND STONE PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Gaz  [author] 12 Jan, 2024 @ 10:34pm
Probably just switching the lowest 2 of the 3 values in the 2nd set of 3 values in the atmosphere settings (so not the mie). If you want to change it real time to test faster you have to boot up the profiling version of the game, go ingame and press alt f11.

Thank you very much. Question if I may, I have small problem with changing of color that awesome blueish mist you added. I found settings in PlanetGenDef.sbc for it and changed transparency and some other stuff but cannot figure it out how to change color to greenish. Any advice?
Gaz  [author] 12 Jan, 2024 @ 12:28am
Thanks, yeah I will approve of that, with due credit given.
Kumpel Kumplowski 10 Jan, 2024 @ 12:39pm
Hi. Great planet. I would like to use it on our Upside Down server. I would need to modify it a bit and add big crater on one of the sides to fit lore of the server. Could I built on top of your work and make my own version on workshop with direct link to this page ?
GigaCars 8 Jan, 2024 @ 12:35pm
indeed
the higher gravity version with 0.8 gravity though, that can be scaled larger due to it's gravity, so technically, the high gravity version can possibly be a main planet, with a thinner then average atmosphere
Gaz  [author] 8 Jan, 2024 @ 2:49am
Yeah it could do as a moon or dwarf planet in a system, it's not supposed to be a main planet at least
GigaCars 7 Jan, 2024 @ 9:50am
but it's more a dwarf planet rather then a planet if you compare it to pluto's size in the SE scales
GigaCars 7 Jan, 2024 @ 9:49am
this planets really fun to drive on with the EEM Rover, flying cars, literally
Gaz  [author] 17 Nov, 2023 @ 10:58am
@Commander_Idiot now you can start on Penumbra with a respawn pod

@Rakorun you can sell it to vendors for a pretty good price.
Rakorun 17 Nov, 2023 @ 9:24am
Sooo what can we do with penumbrite now?
Gaz  [author] 17 Nov, 2023 @ 3:55am
I'll look into it.
Commander_Idiot 16 Nov, 2023 @ 1:11pm
One slight issue that I've noticed, is that there's no way to initially start (in terms of first spawning in) on the planet after it's been placed. Any reason for that out of curiosity?
Commander_Idiot 16 Nov, 2023 @ 12:34pm
Seems like an interesting planet to have in a more of a custom solar system, going to possibly attempt a survival spawn on it.
Ruaidhri 16 Nov, 2023 @ 9:26am
That's one hell of a funny coincidence! XD
Gaz  [author] 16 Nov, 2023 @ 8:56am
Oh wow I had no idea lol. Came up with the Penumbrite because they usually name newly discovered materials to where they are found.
Ruaidhri 16 Nov, 2023 @ 8:33am
ohhh, good to know! Because Starbound has a rather big mod that adds Penumbrite as an ore and a Planet along wiht it that's very close to yours :D
Gaz  [author] 15 Nov, 2023 @ 4:45pm
Thanks! And no, this planet was inspired by Pluto and Titan.
Ruaidhri 15 Nov, 2023 @ 2:19pm
Any way this may have been inspired by a Starbound mod? <.< Love the planet and the look of it!
Gaz  [author] 15 Nov, 2023 @ 10:14am
Well I mean.. water is supposed to be ice on this planet, even nitrogen. But I'm pretty sure it would be easily doable.
SaitamOnun 15 Nov, 2023 @ 8:11am
is compatible with water mod? would be nice to have some liquid water in the deeper points
hanels 12 Nov, 2023 @ 7:27am
Nice
Gaz  [author] 12 Nov, 2023 @ 4:03am
Yeah sure I'll do that and keep this one at 0.13g
hanels 12 Nov, 2023 @ 2:37am
It is ok. Maybe if you create another version with like 0.8-1.2g. I think there is lots of stone under the ice and planet core
Gaz  [author] 12 Nov, 2023 @ 12:20am
I thought because ice was less dense than rock, but I'll increase it to 0.34g to be more realistic with a similar size to Earthlike.
hanels 11 Nov, 2023 @ 3:19pm
why is the gravity so small?
Gaz  [author] 9 Nov, 2023 @ 3:05pm
Thank you, means a lot :D
Major Jon 9 Nov, 2023 @ 2:49pm
wow, really cool planet, nice job mate :luv:
